A basic setup. Clean and friendly. Close to area restaurants. Not as well outfitted as others I have stayed in but very acceptable. The breakfast area is nice and the food was good. Works for an overnight stay but not what I would want for several days of lodging.

The hotel was nice and updated. The room was mostly visually appealing they really should make updates to the kitchen. The bed looked nice but it was extremely uncomfortable there wasn't much padding. It felt like laying on springs. Housekeeping forgot to put pillows in the closet for the pullout couch. When I went to the front desk for pillows...

I don't know if it's because we were there on a Thursday night in November but there were many questionable guests there. There was a man that was clearly in need of help who kept walking up and down the hallway probably 30 times and he was walking right by the front desk, they did not do anything or help...

The breakfast was avg, and the rooms were a little small. The staff was great however and the location was great. Internet was easy to connect to, and there is an indoor pool. The rates were the best in the area.

We arrived around dinnertime to check-in and were given our non-smoking rooms. We proceeded to lug our luggage upstairs, opened the doors, and ugh disgusting! The rooms smelled like chain-smokers had just left. We went back down to the reception and asked to be moved. The receptionist said "Nothing I can do about it. They are non-smoking rooms, but they...

If you are traveling to Alaska to fish in the Kenai Peninsula, then Soldotna is the place to stay and the Aspen Hotel is in a perfect location. It isn't fancy but fishing in Alaska is not supposed to be. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, it has a nice indoor Jacuzzi and it is centrally located to...

My wife and I live and Anchorage and stayed in this hotel for a night. Lots of nice little touches. Two hard backed chairs in our room on which to sit. Nicely served and maintained continental breakfast with excellent coffee. Great location with urban stuff in front and the Kenai River behind. Excellent internet. All good.
