This is a very clean and comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms full of character, starting at 100,000 VND (6 USD), centrally located on a street with many hotels. The breakfast terrace is a nice place to chill out, but unlike other hotels, there's no view on the valley. The staff is quite friendly but not very helpful for excursion bookings.

The Lotus Hotel has the best value for money I've ever seen. The rooms seem recently renovated and they are clean with comfortable beds, though the bathroom appliances leaked so the bathroom was wet most of the time. The best rooms have a balcony overlooking the square. My brother, parents, and I paid only nine USD per double room for...

The Lotus Hotel in SAPA, North Vietnam is amazing. Not far from the Chinese border, it is easy to get there on the overnight train from Hanoi. Definately worth the bumpy train ride, Sapa is the place to be for a break from the hectic city. The lotus hotel is in the main centre of town, just up the road...
