Casa Wagner welcomes you in a unique historic setting on the main square of the citadel where hospitality is at its best. The 400 years old building is on the list of historic monuments of the Unesco World herritage. Each corner has minutely been redecorated and refurbished with antique furniture. The restaurant provides a variety of international and traditional cuisine to please all senses. The wine cellar is the attraction of the house due to its cosy atmosphere.

We stayed here for one night as part of a package, but we weren’t impressed. There wasn’t even a kettle in the rooms! The staff were not too pleased to be asked for help or guidance in any way. The facilities were less than standard
Hotel is located on the main old town square, which is a nice location.
The problems are mainly with maintenance and safety:

The hotel building is 400-500 years old, built on top of an even older guest house. The Sighisoara citadel is one of the most beautifull, exciting, historic old towns in Transylvania. Lovely rooms, do not expect luxury, but decent, clean, nice, good wifi, very good...More
