My husband & i have just returned from an 11 day stay at the wonderful Midas We had a lovely room overlooking the tombs Spotlessly clean .Every morning we enjoyed a wonderful Turkish breakfast while watching the boats pass by on the beautiful Dalyan river absolute heaven . Breakfast was always presented with a lovely smile from one of the fabulous staff . Sergen & his family were the perfect hosts . They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Fabulous location a short walk to the nearby bars & restaurants The boat taxi would pick us up from the decking and take us to itzulu beach The journey takes about 20 mins and is absolutely. Breathtaking,Or you could sunbathe on the decking watching the boats pass by and the frequent appearance of turtles popping their heads up The water is safe to swim in We were originally booked in for 7 nights. But didn’t want to leave this beautiful tranquil place Having been frequent travellers to All areas of Turkey i can honestly say this was one of our favourites Thank you one again to Sergen and his family & staff Must give a mention to Millie he was fabulous See you again soon

It was a really good experience for our family. Midas hotel had everything we need during our 6 night trip to Dalyan. Very clean rooms, perfect Turkish breakfast and cheery personnel. The nature and historical view of the Midas hotel make you in comfort. Thanks to Mr. Nur for his hospitality.

I recently spent 3 days at Midas and was thoroughly impressed. Location was ideal- just away from the center of town enough to be peaceful. The family that owns the hotel is very friendly and ready to help in any way possible. The deck on the river was ideal for relaxing in the morning and evenings and taking an occasional dip in the river with a great view of the rock tombs. The rooms were clean, though somewhat small (very cozy though). Next time I visit Dalyan, I will be sure to stay at Midas again.

I overlooked leaving a review at the time, so here is a belated review of our pleasant stay on 21 May last year (2018). Details are a little fuzzy now, but some memories are still fresh. The pension is in a quiet, leafy, riverside setting. A very nice place to have breakfast (which we remember as being very good). The walk from the Dalyan bus station was quite long, but through pretty areas, and good restaurants are nearby. Soon after our arrival the manager called a river taxi to take us to Iztuzu beach. The boat came right up to the hotel dock, which saved us a lot of time. Our room had a view of the Lycian cliff tombs on the other side of the river. This was my second time in Dalyan, which I highly recommend for a relaxing and interesting stay. This time, I wanted to show it to my wife as we visited ancient sites between Fethiye and Dalyan. I recommend taking the small boat across the river and walking to the ancient city of Kaunos. If you are up for the climb, the 360 degree view from the steep hill overlooking Kaunos is one of the best in Turkey. One can look down on the winding channels taken by the river boats between Dalyan river and the sea.

Stayed overnight as we wanted to visit Kaunos on a trip from Fethiye.. The pension was recommended to us and we were very happy with the accommodation in one of the cabins in the beautiful garden. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and the location on the river opposite the tombs is wonderful. The breakfast served the following morning was excellent.. We would have used the bar in the evening and relaxed and enjoyed the view but heavy rain and thunderstorm prevented it.. We would definitely stay there again..
