The hotel is great . I had such a relaxing week at October half term. A big thank you to all the staff for their hard work. Loved the breakfast staff and the table train! . Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast outside in the sunshine was such a treat. The housekeeping staff and pool staff were really kind. Omelette chef was brilliant .Mr Riaz was very helpful and kind at reception running a great team of staff. The spa staff were absolutely amazing . I had the best massage ever from very skilled staff. . Ms Elif the spa manager works very hard and the whole experience was really relaxing. I had a lovely girls week away with my mum. She enjoyed the whole week too. A little piece of paradise, beautiful weather too. We’ve booked again. Can’t wait. Thank you all.

We have just returned from 14 fabulous nights staying at Dalyan Resort Spa. The hotel is in a truly beautiful location right by the river on the outskirts of town.

The hotel rooms are of a good size and are cleaned daily to a high standard with clean towels provided with each clean (free safe included but no kettle). The general hotel areas are also very clean and the gardens are quite wonderful and very well looked after offering a tranquil setting for a completely relaxing, laid back holiday.

We were staying half board and took advantage of this facility several times in order to also make the most of the fabulous restaurants available in Dalyan itself which is only a 15 minute walk or a 5 min (£2.50) taxi ride away.

I can't speak highly enough of the staff who went above and beyond to make our holiday a memorable one, which is why we have already booked to return next year.

We stayed at the Dalyan Resort for possibly the best holiday ever. Dalyan is the most gorgeous resort we've ever stayed in, so beautiful.
The hotel staff are fabulous, Riza on Reception was lovely, so helpful and friendly, John at the pool bar was great always had a smile for us and he worked so hard, Ali the pool guy well what can we say we loved him and all the guys & girls around the hotel were so friendly.
Try the Spa out we had an amazing 2 hours of pampering while we were there.
Room was lovely, great view over the river and the bed was to die for, do big !
We'd recommend going on the hotel boat trip with Captain George only £10 and whole day out well worth tge money.
Beautiful gardens and hidden sun bathing spots as well as two lovely pools.
Breakfast & dinner around the pool, lovely setting.
No iron in the rooms but had are whole suitcase ironed by the hotel kaundery service for £4.50 and used this service all week for washing & ironing.
A few points that could be improved, tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms, better WiFi in the rooms and a larger upstairs balcony to be able to sit out and enjoy the view, only enough room to stand.
Other than that perfect.
Thank you for a great stay.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Dalyan Resort Spa on our 4th visit to fabulous Dalyan . This was our best yet mainly because of the hotel we stayed in .It may be a 10-15 minute walk from the main bar areas but its well worth it for the amazing location and a taxi is around £2.50 if you cant face it. This is a friendly hotel with great staff who try to make your holiday special, from the ever efficient Riza the front desk manager and his staff who will happily call you a taxi or a boat taxi to the beach to Jon the bar manager , the breakfast staff and the amazing Ali who never stops around the pools during the day ! Excellent breakfasts with fresh salads cereals and made to order omelettes, pancakes and fried eggs . There are decking areas to sit and watch the world go by on the river and lots of hidden spots within the beautiful gardens to hide yourself away . The room we had facing the garden was spotless and changed daily if you wanted , a small terrace with table and chairs , fabulous shower and a huge bed which was very comfortable . Suffice to say I have now re booked for 12 days again for September 23 and may well squeeze another in before

We have had a fantastic holiday at Dalyan Resort Spa hotel. We stayed in a superior room with terrace, which was lovely. The maid came daily to clean & leave fresh towels. The spa is great we had 2 massages of 1 hour each which was amazing. We cannot praise all the staff highly enough, from management to all of the staff, they were all extremely helpful, really friendly. To single out any one in particular would be unfair as they all played their part in making our holiday so very enjoyable. The food is delicious mainly Turkish cuisine but it's great to try new things. The hotel gardens are beautiful with scattered seating areas. There are 2 large swimming pools, both areas have ample comfy sun loungers , with very large strong umbrellas. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the centre of Dalyan or 5 mins by very cheap taxi. The hotel is situated on the river & has a pick up service to take you to turtle beach it costs pennies. I can highly recommend Dalyon as a holiday destination, & can more than recommend this hotel for your stay, if I could give it 6 stars I would.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel, although the walk in to the centre every night got a bit tedious towards the end of the fortnight. We were in a suite which was spacious with a huge firm bed, and an excellent shower. A big negative was the fact that the sitting area was probably the gloomiest room I have ever been in. Not sure what the wattage was on the bulbs but they really need to put in brighter bulbs.
We only ate breakfast there and we had lunch a couple of times. All in all the restaurant and bar staff were excellent and very friendly. Ali the pool guy is amazing whenever you need a bed moved or an umbrella up he appears, as if by magic. The guy that does the eggs in the morning was great as well, best fried eggs I have ever had, well almost.
It is a pity that the management lets the hotel down, the manager on reception was not helpful in the least, and not just with me, as woman was screaming at him one day. You need to put your room card in to the slot to get the lights on. I tend to go out early in the morning leaving my wife in bed, this is not good when you only have one key. i do not ever remember ever paying for an extra room key, but you do here. OK is is only £2.50 but the point is you really need two keys if there are two people. The night porter was very friendly and helped us to the room when we arrived very late.
We liked this hotel but will probably,y not use it again as we prefer the walk to the centre along the river, but we enjoyed the experience.

Response from RIZA BERKİL, Satış at Dalyan Resort Spa Hotel
Responded 11 Nov 2022
Dear Guest, Thanks for your time to share your feedback, Nice to hear happy guest, If the staying guest requests an extra room key( enrjy) card, the receptionist informs them that it will be charged if the extra card is not delivered during c-out time.Second card procedure is necessarry according to Guest Health and safety rules .. because the key card also using for enerjy saver. Most of the guests leave or forget the room key in their rooms, they go to the beach, the center or join the tours. In addition, in case of malfunctions due to overheating of devices such as very hot air conditions, it takes time to repair due to occupancy in high season, parts order etc. Due to situations like these, alternative room options are sometimes not possible and difficulties may be inevitable. In order to solve these situations, the reception gladly helps the guests 24 hours a day in case of opening guest requests an extra door. The loud shouting of the guest disturbed both us and the other guests, and all other hotel guests apologized to the staff in the relevant department for this situation, even though it was not their fault. Regards, Riza Berkil

ill will try and breakdown my experience by category .
Rooms :
I upgraded to one of the superior rooms , Very spacious , comfortable beds ,clean .
Facilities .
Mini bar as suggested , no mini bar just a fridge .This was not stocked as expected.
Kettle supplied after requesting , Tea ,coffee sugar and coffee mate supplied on the first day but not replenished as expected .
Sunbeds supplied with rom as advertised , NO sunbeds area a free for all .
I have to make it clear the Hotel is under new management and completely new staff from last year .
Bar service was dreadful , non of the staff where bar trained and openly admitted they were only servers with no experience in working a bar .
Non of the staff could communicate in English broken or not , they only spoke to us via google translate .
My wife asked for a cocktail again they never had a clue and when we complained to the bar staff as it was awful they asked us not to complain in fear of losing there job. still cost nearly a £10 . There is no draft beers and they don't even pour your drink into a glass its just slammed down in front of you .
The food menu is only via a QR code app . Fine for me but the elderly guests really struggled but again if you asked about the food they couldn't understand you to give details of the food . We decided not out dine in due to this and others at the hotel had problems with there meals and bills due to staff errors .
Breakfast was very limited and very continental , I don't mind continental but it was such a limited choice , great if you liked breads , pastries and cheese for breakfast . And charged extra for juice £2.50 !!!
Again I expect due to new management and staff the gardens as pictured in the brochures are not to be compared , the gardens where unkempt , with storage of broken items and electrical items . Overall the gardens need a good clear up and disposal of waste .
The SPA , is very expensive , suggested prices are around £100 for a treatment with the bartering need to reduce the price . If a spa is included in the hotel then price correctly for guests .
My overall experience was OK but the price I paid to stay in a 4 star hotel didn't cut it for me . I will not be returning to this hotel .
I guess all hotels that replaces management and staff need time to sort out teething issues BUT this should of been done before the season started , I felt let down by the existing reputation and reviews that hasn't followed through to its new management.
I wouldn't be looking to return , with these issue I can only imagine the complaints in high session .
The only member of staff who I have to compliment was Ali the pool / towel guy . The rest where just rude and not up to the task of being in the hotel industry

Response from Fulya Okutur, General Manager at Dalyan Resort Spa Hotel
Responded 2 weeks ago
Dear Guest, As far as I have understood, you are a returned guest. The Management has been the same since 2004. Ali has been one of our favorite employees of us for all times since 2005. The Housekeeper of our hotel has been the same since 2005, as well. Half of the employees are the same for the last 10-12 years. Our barmen Cihan who has been working for the last 6 years retired last year. We opened the season with a new barman, but we noticed problems with language and attitude as you have mentioned. Now, we have two professional barmen. We used to fill the minibars, but tired of dealing with " I did not drink it" issues. Some also took out our minibar items from the minibar and replaced the drinks they bought from the grocery market. When guests ask for it we fill the minibar according to their wish. We always have enough sunbeds at the hotel and also extra more at the storage. Also during your stay, the hotel was not busy. We could not get the problem with the sunbeds. The pomegranate and orange juice served at breakfast is organic. It has a high cost for the hotel as it is gathered from our organic garden. Last winter, we had made a big renovation at the hotel in many parts of the hotel. Some small alterations continued and still, there are some touch-ups. We have some items for recycling and old kitchen equipment waiting to be transferred to the Dog Shelter. They are in the back garden, not in the garden in front of the eyes of the guests. The whole Spa personnel is from Bali and the price of 100 GBP. is a package price containing several treatments, not for a single one. As an experience of 20 years, I can tell you that the complaints are less when it is high season with higher occupancy as the staff gets the rhythm of busy work. After Covid, many people in the tourism industry quitted their jobs. Since then, it is not easy to find tallented people very easy. Still, we would be happy to see you back to check improvements. Kind Regards,

First of all, this boutique hotel is located at a paradise like place; right on the naturel Dalyan river/canal leading to the amazing Iztuzu beach by boats which is also the beach to protect the sea turtles and their habitats . By the way, the hotel has its own large boat for the guests. The boat also takes you to the natural mud bath and Sultaniye Hot Spring. Moreover, the hotel has the amazing view of the Dalyan Rock Tombs and the ancient city 'Caunos" which is a couple of minutes away by car or by a short walk.
The staff very friendly and helpful and the food is absolutely amazing. All vegetable and fruit are from the nearby organic farms of the hotel owner. I highly recommend the freshly squeezed pomegranate juice.
We would like to thank once again to the owners, Ms. Fulya and Mr. Yucel, for their great hospitality and for building and operating that paradise hotel with great success.

Just back from a fantastic holiday. Lovely hotel in beautiful setting right on river. Room was very nice with large comfy bed. Breakfast usual turkish breakfast with egg options few people moaned but it was ideal, only thing I felt was no fruit juice unless you paid for pomegranate or orange @ 55tl. Pool area is lovely, no issue with sunbeds. My only slight issue was when booking spa resort i presumed the pool there was for those guests but quite a few people came round everyday that had booked resort hotel.

Ali ar the pool was amazing, always running round ensuring everything was OK. He must be exhausted at end of everyday. Ali G and other staff very friendly and would come round pool asking if you needed a drink or ice.

Approx 10 min walk to town. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Only slight negative is if you have late flight it costs you €50 to keep room till 4pm then after that €100 euro which I felt quite steep.

We stayed from mid Sept to the end and as a first experience at a hotel in Dalyan this was great. All staff were very accommodating and friendly and definately made the holiday more enjoyable.

We had a family room which we didn't realise were only available on the first floor as we would have preferred a ground floor room, but we know what to book for next time. The hotel was apparently fully booked so a change of rooms was not able to be accommodated at that time but we managed. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean with a daily maid service. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were a miss but everything else had been considered, from the fridge, with 2 complimentary bottles of water, to a little manicure set and hairdryer in the bathroom.
There was always space around the 2 large pools despite the hotel being full and the staff were friendly, attentive and always happy to help. We booked on a B&B basis, but always stuggled to make breakfast ! on the few occasions we did make it there was plenty of choice and fresh foods and a cook station. We had evening meal once in the hotel (menu changed daily) but the local area has some great places to eat out so made the most of that.
The grounds of the hotel were beautiful with lots of little secluded sitting areas and places to relax.
Over all I can't wait to return
