A few of us have stayed here twice now each November for the Kaimanawa Ranges Tour. The reception is always warm and welcoming. The room has had a re-fit in the bathroom which looks good and parking is easy right in front of the unit. Whilst we had not pre-arranged breakfast this was no problem and there was plenty available... More

We had a roomy studio unit with kitchen facilities, dining suite and sofa. Very clean and good location particularly if you are skiing at Turoa Ski Field. This is also a lodge so a variety of accommodation types. Some rooms are pet friendly. We enjoyed our 3 night stay, slept well and were very comfortable.

The Owners were available, they took time to explain us the booking of the trek, they made us a good english breakfeast, and found us some stick walk (we arrived to late in order to rent some). The bed was very nice. It was a very good place.

Good size room in the lodge, no storage unfortunately so a long stay could get a little tedious. If you are tall ask for access to a tall shower! Was ok for us shorties. Great location. Close to the mountain and town. Good communal facilities - kitchen, pool table tv etc. Had a good time

An amazing time, cool way to meet other people and let the kids play. Such a home style feel, relaxing and clean. So fun having a pool table and the communial lounge with sky TV. Incredibly close to Turoa entrance. Good parking. Drying room was super helpful. #BrittDavidNadiaGeorgia ♡

Just needed a short stay to get in on a fine weather and fresh snow window of opportunity. All the facilities required for a ski break and even a spa as a bonus. Very good value for a short notice stay.

Price for price, this is the best value I've had in Ohakune. My room was large, with a ktichenette and seperate bathroom and toilet. It was well equipped, clean, comfortable and warm. The owners were friendly and helpful and the Spa very welcome after a hard day's ski-ing. Nice easy walk to restaurants and bars.

Comfy beds and hot shower. Exactly what you need after a days skiing. We used an ensuite room which was clean, bright and well furnished. It was a little small if you had to spend any length of time in it though.

Our stay at the Ruapehu Mountain Motel & Lodge was our first for this accommodation. It was close to Turoa Skifields and also to the cafe's etc. We totally enjoyed the Spa facility. We made use of the kitchen and stuff. Met a nice family. Will definitely stay again
