We visited French Polynesia for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. The first week we stayed at Le Taha'a Resort and Spa in Taha'a and had an incredible time. Highly recommend that property. However, we had not so great of a stay at Le Meridien. The good: The staff was very kind. We

We stayed here during our honeymoon and still agree that it's the most beautiful place we've ever been. The overwater bungalows have great large glass floors, but the decks are a bit small. The real highlight here is truly the beach--it has a stunning view of the mountain and

The setting is perfect and the view over Mt Otemotu amazing. The grounds of the hotel are also wonderful and the experience is one of a combination of Polynesian and French charm. Our room, a pool suite on the lagoon was superb and very well equipped. The lagoon just out the

This place has so much to offer! We had over water bunglow, breakfast included and the service was impeccable. The property has great restaurants and natural lagoon and swim pool. There is also a cute polynesian chapel for a great photo opportunity. The views are fabulous.

Went for a relaxing babymoon (they didn’t do anything special for us surprisingly even though we told them in advance before we went) and it was very quiet and relaxing. Less to do than we thought bc we didn’t know that most restaurants are closed in Dec and Jan (we found out

Your comment is very important to us and please be sure that we will take in consideration each point you mentionned in order to improve our guests experience. No hammocks in the overwater bungalows. They have hammocks for the villas on the lagoon.

They have "floaties" in their swimming pools but not sure if you are allowed to borrow or take them to your bungalow. As for the string, if they have it, I would believe they would provide you some.

This is tricky answer because there is no real running path, but the short answer is you can run a couple miles around the OWB decks. It is quite a walk, so you could certainly carve a mile or two between the 2 long decks. If you go to the ocean side and run up and down, you might get you another mile. This resort is not a runners dream, but you could certainly get a few miles with effort and add some steps without backtracking. I will say, this was our favorite resort and we stayed here and St Regis (each for a week).

Can you get any type of "all inclusive " at this resort??
you can get breakfast package but I would not recommend all inclusive as they seemed to be confused to what that means.
