Breakfast included during our stay at Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora. There are cats and chickens around the breakfast tables. We can play with them and feed them. The location is good as it is closed to Avis for us to pick up a rental Renault Twizy electric fun car for two. We went

Staffs and price good. WiFi and bugs annoying Ate at the main island. Walked there. Expensive breakfast here. First time in my experience we did not have communal eating set up with other holiday makers. Overall, unmistakably secluded pricey experience

On arrival at the airport , there is very little attention given to you for this hotel , you have to take the ferry to the main city and from there a bus holding your luggage ... total you loose over one 1 hour , if you take it the positive way this gives you an opportunity

Hotel is quite far from vaitape pier. They charge 1506 xpf per person for transfer and transfer takes about 20 to 30 mins. Nothing stellar in close proximity. Hotel is ok types. Concierge tried selling us a super expensive massage. Instead I looked up massage providers on TA who

Hello! My wife and I were there last summer, loved it. We ate at the hotel for breakfast lunch and dinner on several days. Because the food was good, it's price was comparable to other Bora Bora restaurants, and we're lazy. ;) Breakfast buffet was included with our room, so I don't know the price. It was decent, with a wide variety of hot and cold selections and beverages. Lunch ran us about 10-35 dollars each USD, depending on what we got. (soup / salads cheaper, fresh fish more). Dinner was a bit more, say maybe 15-60 each depending on what you get. But you can find a variety of dishes in the 20-35 dollar range, if I remember correctly. All of Bora Bora is pricey. For lunch we had fish with a delicious vanilla sauce, and the creme brulee we got at dinner one night was the best we had in Bora Bora. But of course, tastes may vary. There are other restaurants within walking distance both at Matira beach and in various other hotels around the area, as well as convenience stores to buy your own food. Also if you want to go to the famous Bora Bora restaurant Bloody Mary's they offer a fee shuttle to the hotel that will pick you up for dinner. I found the hotel food at least as good and maybe even better than Bloody Mary's. You definitely don't need to rent a car, because if you book an activity that company will pick you up, either in a bus or jeep or boat (at the hotel's dock right out in front of it). The hotel itself to my knowledge doesn't offer any of their own activities per se, but they have an activities concierge who works with various companies on the island. For instance we booked a massage through the hotel, but it was at an outer island (and totally worth the splurge, glass floored rooms with tropical fish swimming underneath in the lagoon). Also though they rent motorcycles/mopeds/golf carts in front of the hotel and there's a car rental place a five minute walk down the road (toward Matira beach) I'm not a fishing guy so I don't know about day-fishing tours, but I'm guessing it's available because they had a large book full of activities at the hotel.

It all depends on what you're planning to do and where you're planning to eat. You can book excursions ahead of time and pay for those by credit card, so you'd just need cash for buying things at the local market (wine, beer, snacks, a baguette or croissants for breakfast?) or eating at the great little "snack" restaurants on Matira Beach (about $30 per person for lunch and a beer or cocktail). Also, a lot of places--even the local buses and taxis--accept U.S. dollars, so if you run out of XPF, use dollars. And don't bring a lot of cash and exchange it. Instead, use an ATM when you get to Papeete or Vaitape. The local bank will charge a fee and your U.S. bank will charge a fee, but if you take out 30,000 xpf (about US$300, then at least that fee is spread out over a larger amount so that gives you a good exchange rate.

Hi, To be honest I do not remember activities or something like that. They did have entertainment during dinner. Which was really nice!
