Great place to stay with great views. Don’t be caught off guard, most hotels in Alaska don’t have air conditioning. They really don’t need it but is a bit of a surprise if you aren’t expecting it. Friendly staff!

It came as part of a land sea package. Biggest waste of money on our trip. Sits in the middle of nowhere, nearest town one hour away by shuttle. (At a cost of $10.00pp) Food is not great and service was sketchy. Literally felt trapped....More

We caught the shuttle for free. I think it started at 1030 or1130 and I believe the last shuttle back was 530 or 730 that’s the best I can do but we had fun in talkeetna we went in September

Not sure when you are planning to go, however, the Mt. Mckinley Lodge is now closed for the season. This year they opened in May, not sure about next year. The shuttles run on on a daily basis to Talkeetna and back. There... More
