Not sure when you are planning to go, however, the Mt. Mckinley Lodge is now closed for the season. This year they opened in May, not sure about next year. The shuttles run on on a daily basis to Talkeetna and back. There... More
Not sure when you are planning to go, however, the Mt. Mckinley Lodge is now closed for the season. This year they opened in May, not sure about next year. The shuttles run on on a daily basis to Talkeetna and back. There is a fee to take the shuttle.

Also if you are in Anchorage, be sure to checkout Ship Creek, it's reported to be one of the best spots for Salmon. The Bate Shack has a website with great info as well and sits right beside the creek. Hope this helps.
