Excellent setting, breathtaking view of Mont-McKinley. Service and food are exceptional. Room are comfortable. You go there because of the setting and you get your money's worth. Do take the opportunity to walk around the trails. Take a shuttle to Talkeetna and visit the artisans there. A truly enjoyable way to spend a vacation. Followed bya cruise on Princess what...

There is a shuttle to Talkeetna which is $10 each way but it takes more than one hour. We had lunch and dinner in Talkeetna, so we did not spend...

Full disclosure: My review is probably influenced by the great weather we had when we stayed there. If you are among the lucky 30% who get to see the mountain you are in for a treat. If you were like us and had a chance to sit and watch the mountain change throughout the day you will walk away amazed...
