Just amazing, such a beautiful property and a wonderful staff. Great place to grab a big group and go rent the lodge and enjoy a long weekend whether you want to play in the sun or the snow. The hot tub looking out on the lake is outstanding.

9-18-16 - Our fall alaska adventure continues (see previous posts) - We have made no prior reservations but are headed in the direction of Valdez (from Wrangell St. Elias) - stopped on the way at a Russian Lodge for lunch - great time and wifi. It was a beautiful drive - Hatcher Pass, Bridal Veil Falls, Worthington Glacier - are...

We stayed at the Robe Lake Lodge while hunting with Akduckhunts.com. The photos of the lodge do not do justice because the views are outstanding. Even though the lake was frozen, we still got to watch moose feed in the lower parts and eagles roosted on trees nearby. We did have a issue with the surveillance camera above the main...

The view of Robe Lake from the common room of the lodge is incredible. Loved looking out the big windows while having a fine continental breakfast. Other aspects were not as good. Arrived for self check-in to find the front door locked and no lights on. After prowling around, we found an unlocked side door and let ourselves in. We...

A few things we didn't know/expect: - bathrooms are shared - rooms are on the small side with very little space to store/put things - rooms do not lock - self check in The continental breakfast was reasonable. The view of the Robe Lake from the lodge is beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub after a day of kayaking...

We did a last-minute search for lodging in the Valdez area and happened upon the Robe Lake Lodge. What a great find this was!! The lake view was spectacular and the lodge was very comfortable and inviting. For the best experience, the upstairs bedrooms (5&6) seem roomier and you have your own separate living room/seating area. The downstairs rooms (1-4)...

I stayed at Robe Lake Lodge as part of a heliski package run by Tabitha and Josh the owners of the lodge. This was my third year in a row at the lodge in the springtime (the time for heliskiing). I cannot say enough good things about this place: the staff is knowledgable, very friendly, and highly experienced. The food...

I see very mixed reviews up here, so I felt I needed to leave mine although I am not a frequent Trip Advisor user. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised after staying in rustic cabins for most of our travels in Alaska. We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and then had to move to a cabin our...

View was awesome, but no one was there to let us in. Finally discovered that doors are never locked. The housekeeper evidently forgot we were coming, because there were dead flowers on the tables, personal items left out here and there, the so-called continental breakfast consisted of green, moldy bagels on the counter, and the trash was full and stinky....
