Nicely done refurbishment of an old fashioned route 66 motor court. Room was very clean and decorated with an old western theme, but with modern bath fixtures. Beautiful painted sink in the lavatory. The king sized bed was firm and comfortable. The climate control system was intrusive to say the least. The loud fan went on and off continuously all... More

We were passing through and I booked because of trip advisor. I can't really add much that others haven't already said. We loved the service and the room and the breakfast. We are budget hotel goers so, for us this was such a great find. The room was so clean and homey. I'm already planning future trips that will bring... More

We booked this based on reviews and they were right on! In this area after visiting the Painted Desert / Petrified Forest National Park. Enjoyed the clean and spacious rooms, decor, park in front of the door, breakfast. One can tell the complex was built in the 40-50's, but the owners have updated and added finishing touches that make this... More

Exceptionally clean and neat hotel for a small local operation. Have yet to try breakfast but the Globetrotter is a great value. Breakfast was a complete continental offering and very filling for the traveling family. Everyone found a complete meal of their choice

Booked this stay on reviews only. Driving from Vegas to Santa Fe for Thxgiving. We knew we were going to be checking in late so we called ahead and they told us what room we would be in and that they would leave it open and the keys on the desk. I was reticent but agreed. That is EXACTLY they... More

The owners are excellent people, very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large, comfortable, and clean. The trains come through the town pretty much at all hours. The noise of the trains themselves was not a problem, but I guess there is a rule they have to blow their whistles a lot. If you are a light sleeper like... More

What a charming hotel! Our room was beautiful, the decor eclectic, our wash basin in the bathroom was painted china and gorgeous! The room was large and very clean. At breakfast, we had a table allocated to us with china dinnerware and metal knives and forks, breakfast was great! Extremely good value for the price!

Nice motor hotel. The outside appearance won't overwhelm anyone, but the rooms are great and the free breakfast works well. An Austrian couple own and run the hotel and they are very efficient and nice.

Stayed at Globetrotter in late September for one night during a visit to the Painted Desert. Nice clean room on Historic Route 66. Very well kept and recently refurbished motel. Breakfast was continental plus -- enough to start your day with cereal, bagels, fruit, coffee and tea. Owners very pleasant.
