We stayed for 2 nights.we went on 5 safaris including a New Year's Eve late night one which was extremely cold even with jackets scarves and blankets.The driver was great.He was full of enthusiasm and knowledge.we went off road (bumpy )and saw loads of animals..watched a lion eating his lunch , elephants walking right next to our truck,zebras,giraffes ,cheatah and...

Family of 5 visited Bayethe for a 3 night stay. We had 3 luxury tents which were just amazing. Beautifully furnished with the benefit of outdoor splash pools. The food at the lodge was excellent and the chefs were extremely accommodating by organising Kosher meat for our son. We all had massages one day in the spa that were lovely....

Great place Great staff First class food and wine Tents are great Safari rides are great and our ranger Raymond became part of our group . Great driver , very knowledge, good fun and tried everything to make each drive special . 10/10

Having travelled from Heathrow via Jo' burg and Port Elizabeth, we arrived mid afternoon at Shamwari. First impressions were very positive and after a light lunch we opted not to go on the evening safari drive, but to get some of the travel weariness out of our bones. This is a tented lodge. VERY upscale and fabulous. The staff are excellent, the accommodations to die for and the meals very good. Our ranger was very good.There were 20 of us and everyone loved the whole experience. Your every need is taken into consideration. The beds are large and comfortable. Some tents (and these do not seem like tents!)...
