Got lost and arrived late and after dark. I was so happy to see a welcoming friendly face and I loved Ginger the beautiful spaniel! They make big hearty breakfasts. Loved the huge king size bed. There is safe off street parking and free wifi.

Very good,no complain,at the beginning was little bit unease with the dog, but was fine after assurance that its is a trouble free dog.it is a an excellent place to stay especially if one is writing examination and because the place is far from noise distraction. One can easily concentrate especially during the night .

I was so satisfied and thankful for the hospitality, friendliness and safety the guest house could afford me. My nerves were calmed as I knew I was safe. Linidwe makes the best breakfast and Thomas is knows everything of the area. They referred us to the best restaurants that offered value for money and creating ever lasting memories

Well, my friend and I decided to take a road trip & ended up at Chameleon Village. having not been there for a while, it was awesome to see all the stalls in the flea market. The variety of items to purchase are truly.... proudly South African!!

My stay was all that I expected; clean, comfortable room with safe parking for my car and a hearty breakfast the next morning. Thomas and the staff members went out of their way to make me feel at home; nothing was too much to ask. Thank you and well done team Nomndeni de la Changuion

“We have only stayed in 'Sleeping with the Stars' but we have seen the room next door and it is equally as nice. I really dont think you would get a bad room here as everything is so lovely and very authentic french feeling....(have been there too!)...”

“I enjoyed the Out of Africa guest house, which was not attached to the main house. Melville's 7th St. area is a short, safe walk away.”

“The photos on the guesthouse's Facebook page are actually very accurate, so go with them. The rooms facing the road get the most sun; those away from it can be cool.”
