The Malikana guesthouse is just that, a small guesthouse, and it is not a hotel. It was a bit like being at home. It was very clean and comfortable but the rooms are on the small side and are not what I would call luxurious. The food was good home cooking served buffet style. The guest house is in a...

Visiting the Malikana guesthouse was just like coming home. So welcoming. It was very clean and comfortable. The food was amazing. So happy to have met such great people. Convenient location to the airport without having to deal with a lot of traffic. Very accommodating

We needed to book a last minute place in Jo'burg for one night at the end of a tour and were recommended the Malikana by friends and we certainly weren't disappointed. Sookie and Borendt were amazingly hospitable and catered for our every need. Even though we were a bit late, they arranged dinner and took care of airport transfers for...

Home Sweet Home in Joberg. Husband & Wife hosts are fantastic to make you feel comfortable and the Breakfast & Dinner is not to miss. We stayed here first time in March 2016 with a tour. Now we have stayed here 2 more times since the tour has been completed. This is the only place to stay on your Journey...

We stayed at Soekie's place 2 nights, before and after our trip to Kruger National Park. It is a very clean, organized guesthouse. On our return stay, it felt like we were "going home". Soekie is a warm caring individual who wants everyone to feel at home while they stay with her. Meals were traditional African dishes and were delicious.

This was a last minute change of accommodation and I we expected more. The owners are very kind, no issue there. The wifi only works in the office which can be cramped and not suitable for a private conversation. I thought it would be reasonable to be able to access tea and coffee in the guest house as opposed to...

From the time we arrived until we reluctantly had to leave she treated us like family. I was traveling with g adventures and luckily...

The Malikana Guesthouse is located in Kempton Park, about 15 minutes from the airport. It is a great starting place for a safari. The place is very welcoming, thanks to the owner, Soukie, who looks after guests every need. I came in early morning and she arranged a tour of Johannesburg for me before I was to meet up with...

My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at Malikana Guesthouse before our Kruger Safari offered by G Adventures and 2 additional nights after. Everything there is to say can be said by telling that we already recommended the guesthouse to everybody we talked to so far (Friends & Family). Soekie and her team do an outstanding job in making your...
