We rented a cottage for a few months and although everything could be there to make the stay very good and enjoyable (location, space), I would conclude that there are far better guesthouses in Pretoria, and for less money. The rooms are lovely, the location is good for walking to the mall and the football field, the facility feels like a home, and there is a quaint pool that is great for cooling off. The Rose Guest House is in a safe, clean, neighborhood in the Sunnyside area of Pretoria, an upscale neighborhood with many embassies nearby, the Brooklyn Mall Complex about a 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) and the Hatfield Mall and Gautrain Station are quite close as well.
