Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The individual and personal care and attention from booking to before travelling to updating on road closures or suggested routes on the day of travel was superb. I arrived fairly late in the evening and was met in person by Sonja. The rooms are incredibly spacious and well set up in a beautiful setting and have a solar solution that is so good I wasn't even aware that load-shedding had kicked in - there was no drop in internet connection at all.
Sonja checked in once but was readily available for any issues. I had a very early start on the morning I left and Sonja was up and there to see me off.
I can't recommend this Guest house highly enough. Will definitely return!

My stay at Villa Botanica was wonderful! The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the setting is beautiful. Being so close to the equestrian area in Kyalami is a real plus!! It is also close to the Fourways shopping area and the N1 highway.

It’s a awesome place to stay. Everything you need is there, the shop is just around the coner. Got a big bed and the room is very clean. The breakfast was the best. Will definitief stay there again next year for the 94.7 cycle challenge.

This property is suitable for any type traveler. The rooms are bigger than what I am used to, with a full ensuite bathroom. Very comfortable and everything necessary in the room. The hostess is super friendly, and breakfast was freshly made for us. This guest house has everything that a tourist or business traveller would need for a very comfy experience and sleep.
It is only the parking that is not clearly marked.
We have slept over here after a wedding in the area and I don’t think we could choose a better place. I will Really highly recommend Villa Botanica.

Having spent a week at this incredible Guest House, we were reluctant to leave.

The accommodations were outstanding, comfortable, clean and very spacious. The staff were gracious, friendly and always on hand to assist. The meals were out of this world and our hosts made us feel so at home.

Thank you so much for making our stay so amazing and we'll definitely be back!

All aspects of Villa Botanical were very good. I just had a bad sleep experience on my first night with the barking dog which kept me awake. This was sorted out on the second night. Other than this, I was happy with all other aspects of the guesthouse

Had a great stay, staff was very helpful, room was neat and the nearly full DSTV channel selection was a huge plus. Felt very secure although it was a bit out of town. The restful atmosphere made up for the 8 min extra drive. It was well located between Johannesburg and Pretoria. I will be making use of Villa Botanica on my next trip.

Great place to stay. My daughter and I usually stay here when we participate in sporting events close by. Breakfast is great and the family is very friendly and accommodating. There is air con for summer and heating for winter. Rooms are luxurious and tastefully decorated.
