Stayed here 3 times. Love this place because it is un-homogenized- plenty of "normal" places half a mile north. This is a Mom & Pop with neon and murals. Smile, relax, and enjoy. The buildings are old, with original plumbing; pressure and flow are low.It takes a while for hot water to reach the sink and shower. Hot water will...

We stayed in the Legends room with two queen beds. Enormous room with a kitchen (we didn't get to use - it has a sink, fridge and microwave). Spotless clean. Comfortable beds. A bit chilly when we first arrived but the room soon heated up nicely. Several people have complained about the plumbing but the shower in this room is...

Old motel with some updates. Love the commitment to Route 66 in murals that line outside. Rooms are themed. We stay in John Wayne. Staff had overload of info at check in. Taco was there to great us and did a trick for a treat. Nice dog!

Quirky 2 star motel with loads of fascinating history and an owner who gives a great introduction. We booked three rooms for a family of 10 for just 1 night. All rooms have a movie star theme and are clean and comfortable, although getting the right temperature in the shower is a real work of art and the wifi is not good.Everything else...

Perfect stop for Route 66ers. The owner was very informative about the history of the hotel and the area. The hotel and surrounding grounds were quirky and nostalgic of the Route 66 Era. I had only one complaint, I didn't have any hot water. Which was disappointing. The pool was not filled but I was not wanting to use it...

My Family and I had a one night stop over here on the way from Vegas to Grand Canyon. Having never done the Motel thing before we were a little nervous. We received a lovely warm welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was a little dated, but super clean and functional. All in all it was a...

When we arrived, the man at the desk (the owner, I suppose) was very kind and friendly and gave us a lot of informations about the motel, the city and their history, but... The room was very poorly maintained and cold and the heater didn't function. Furthermore, the bathroom was ridiculous, with a very little and scraped sink and the...

Was better than I expected. My idea of a place to stay overnight on a trip is the cheaper the better. The price was very reasonable for just a place to cleanup, sleep and freshen up. I would stay here again.

A true motel on R66 filled with history, friendly owners, and a comfortable room at a reasonable price. If you are traveling R66 or just stopping in Kingman the El Trovatore Motel is a nice break from modern motels at higher rates. It also helps keep the Mother arias alive and well. We met nice guests sitting outside, talked with...

Relatively clean rooms. Quaint. Perfect for the European traveler that wants to be conned into the "a route 66" image. Very talkative owner, sweet wife. Get there early for best choice of rooms. Kingman, Az. is generally a pit with a capital P, but survivable after the owner explained that everyone carries a gun. Stockton hill has beautiful landscapes and...
