Pictures looked lovely, but the hotel was disappointing. Standard room was ok, a bit dark and small. The area around the toilet in the bathroom smelled really bad. It was very noisy; I could literally hear the light switches being turned on and off by the person in the room next door. Somehow I kept smelling cigarette smoke in the...

My boyfriend and I have stayed here multiple times over the last 12 months and are never disappointed! We actually love the rooms that face the parking lot as they are quieter and bigger; they even have a bath (as opposed to rooms with verandahs which people are usually initially drawn to). The best parts of staying here are: big...

a surpise - a warm welcome in a cool place . The location was not so great , but it is a very unique plaqce to stay . We especially enjoyed the meals - local and organic and different. The decor is artisitc and ppracticle.

What a lovely oasis of a hotel in a very convenient area. Staff are super friendly. Rooms very comfortable and clean if a bit dark. Freedom Cafe offers the most incredible breakfast. Would definitely be back.

Yes its quite quirky and modern but I am now unsure as to how it gets such a high TA rating- can only assume there is little competition in the city. The room was ok if quite dark with a small patio- it did need some maintenance. We had breakfast there which was tasty although finding anyone to take order/serve...

We had 2 nights at the Concierge and enjoyed the quirkiness of the place immensely. Staff were very friendly & helpful, breakfast sitting outside Freedom cafe underneath the shade of a giant fig tree was a delight. Our room however was on the small side, great big comfortable bed but too big for the size of the room. Also think...

Nice place to stay in Durban. Room was comfortable & smart, with working aircon. Free tea & coffee but no free biscuits, bottled water, etc. Breakfast from the Freedom Café in the courtyard was fantastic! Free secure parking. Walking distance to Florida Road which has restaurants, etc. They provided a map with great local recommendations for food, drinks, things to...

I had a great experience at The Concierge. My room had a verandah. I was offered an upgrade but I wanted the outdoor space so I stuck with my original room. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and a safe for your passport and other valuables. The room was really clean. It was serviced daily. It was beautiful!...

Really simple but tremendous bungalows. Very friendly hosts, good food at the Freedom Cafe on the same property. The room itself is nicely decorated in a modern simple style, with a large shower separated from the bedroom by a glass wall, which is covered by curtains for your privacy if needed. Great little veranda outside as well. Comfortable bed, aircon...

Amazing rooms w/ a beautiful garden! What can I say about the bathrooms?! They're perfect. The breakfast was delicious!! There's a parking inside the propriety, with 24h reception. One of the bests I've been!! Really liked it
