A real boutique hotel. Lots of design, but also funcional. Nice, clean and friendly staff. On the other hand, the neighbourhood is not very good, and the place could be noisy. The breakfast is different also, I do not like it too much. I think it is a good hotel.

Having heard about The Concierge, I made it a must to visit on my one night in Durban. Comfortable, modern and stylish rooms. Well laid out. Lots of space. Attention to detail in all ways, from welcome at reception, mini bar treats, gown, and general thought put into carrying the theme thru. Situated in good proximity to beach front and...

This was the first time we had visited Durban and the people working in the hotel were excellent and very friendly. It was very obvious that the owners pride themselves with good customer service as every member of staff were helpful and courteous which you do not always get at larger hotels. The food was fantastic and would recommend the...

I always stay here on my business travels to Durban. Great rooms, delicious breakfast. Great energy and creativity. Out of the box in terms of what they do and how they do it. That's what I love about them.

We spent a very pleasant night at the Concierge on Saturday. We were a group of parents supporting our kids on a sports tour. There was a great place to sit under the trees in the evening and chat while the men watched the rugby. The rooms were excellent, nice atmosphere, and trendy decor. Well located to Florida road where...

I must admit that when we found this hotel we had second thoughts, as the entrance is down a dodgy little alley. However we were proved wrong and this hotel is an excellent option for Durban, and probably the best option if you want to stay in the CBD. It's quirky, fun and modern, and really close to all the...

The quirky interior design is definitely the strength of The Concierge. Once that has worn off one is faced with the realities of the accommodation. My take on it: Room : On the small side but as a solo-traveller suited me perfectly fine. The veranda/ 'stoep' shared with the room next door is a lovely extension of the room. All...

The room was very comfortable and provided all one would need . It had a very pleasing scale s scale with individual and quirky details in the decor, like the daschund and dog motifs . The bathroom flowed off the bedroom, and was very spacious with a bath and a shower. I had a great breakfast at the Freedom cafe,...

Nice and clean bathroom. Exceptional staff. I needed an amendment to my rented car booking, and staff went out of the way to help and assisted with my planing of my long drive from Durban to Capetown to Johannesburg. Food was great, there was a signature dish for the breakfast, but I dont remember the name. There is a nearby...
