the rooms are super clean, bedding is super extra clean. the staff was friendly and awesome, we really felt at home. i know the hotel workers by their names, thats how friendly they are. i will visit Durban again soon, and i will choose this hotel.

If you can only improve the safety of our cars in your parking lot, everything would be okay. The sun1 in pretoria was much better than that one because there was a security available there 24/7. We literally made a last minute booking at the Sun1 on our way to Durban over the Easter Weekend. We had a very comfortable stay, the Front Desk Staff was friendly, the room was clean and neat. the room was so interesting, tv, nice bed, nice bathroom. the set up was so perfect. they provide enough bedding, enough towel. they also have soap although it doesn't mean you must not bring yours. there is a table for study

We spent the night at Sun1 Durban on the 28th February we had room 120 and room 224 booked and we are very disgusted with what I experienced. 1. the floor was wet in room 120 after the storm that night. 2 receptionists day shift and night shift are unfriendly and needs some customer care training urgently as they did... Service excellent rooms clean we travelled by bus parking a major problem for busses but for cars no problem we stayed there on a few occations friendly staff especially Nellie enjoyed our stays and in fact we will be booking in again for 3 nights in December.

slept at Sun1 on 6-7 Jan 2016. Sizwe was very rude and undermining. Gave us dirty room and linen, air- con not working. Window can't close slept with open window. Thanks to the lady who worked on 7th.

Compliments to simphiwr and sizwe they were very helpful but the day security his job is not to manage kitchen but yo maintain peace and security,its like he like kitchen work that his title work,please get a decent lady to manage the canteen or lichen

The service is the best.the staff where welcoming and friendly through out our stay. The place is too small for three people. I can book to stay for one day alone not more than that. And the place is clean
