Beautiful historic building with a lush garden and small pool near The Lakes in Wilderness. Quiet and relaxing. Owners have 4 friendly dogs and you can bring your own. Good breakfast. Friendly owners. A definite recommendation for anyone wanting some R&R. Short drive to the beach and restaurants in Wildnerness.

This is a nice guest house if you like to be very close to the national park. Good facilities and Mike offers good tours. The room is a small size and the fixtures all work but are a little old. The room is very quiet and you will get a good nights sleep. No AC.

We thoroughly enjoyed our night's stay. The hosts were extremely accommodating of our requirements with a toddler - we enjoyed the pool and feeding the koi fish. Great location, would recommend to anyone keen on Wilderness.

We had a lovely 2-nichts-stay in the Garden Room (which is actually a small cottage with queen bed, kitchenette and shower) - small but cozy with a private courtyard to sit and read. Wifi didn't work in our room but in the main house and breakfast area. Mike was a very friendly and helpful host and his place is good...

Quiet location close to the lake and wilderness nature reserve. The facilities are nice, breakfast was very good and Mike, the owner was lovely, very helpful and also offers an eco boat trip in the reserve. We highly recommend the old post trading as a stop along the garden route

The Old Trading Post Guest House was one of the nicest places we have stayed on this trip to S.A. It is very comfortable, and our unit (next to the lodge) had a living room/kitchenette, bedroom, and bath with tub and shower, all very spacious. Their breakfast and dinner were delicious. In addition to all this, their garden was marvelous...

We unfortunately stayed only for one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lovely house is set in a beautiful garden, away from the noises of the city. Mike, our host, was friendly and extremely helpful and served a delicious breakfast. We would highly recommend the Old Trading Post and we will be back, this time for a longer stay.

The small side trip off Highway N2 takes you into the lake country where you will find the most quaint little B&B. It is run by Mike who is very gracious. The original building dates back to the early 1920's. It is a very quiet location, and the breakfast are fantastic. Make the side trip to meet Mike.
