We had a lovely 2-nichts-stay in the Garden Room (which is actually a small cottage with queen bed, kitchenette and shower) - small but cozy with a private courtyard to sit and read. Wifi didn't work in our room but in the main house and breakfast area. Mike was a very friendly and helpful host and his place is good...

Quiet location close to the lake and wilderness nature reserve. The facilities are nice, breakfast was very good and Mike, the owner was lovely, very helpful and also offers an eco boat trip in the reserve. We highly recommend the old post trading as a stop along the garden route

The Old Trading Post Guest House was one of the nicest places we have stayed on this trip to S.A. It is very comfortable, and our unit (next to the lodge) had a living room/kitchenette, bedroom, and bath with tub and shower, all very spacious. Their breakfast and dinner were delicious. In addition to all this, their garden was marvelous...

We unfortunately stayed only for one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lovely house is set in a beautiful garden, away from the noises of the city. Mike, our host, was friendly and extremely helpful and served a delicious breakfast. We would highly recommend the Old Trading Post and we will be back, this time for a longer stay.

The small side trip off Highway N2 takes you into the lake country where you will find the most quaint little B&B. It is run by Mike who is very gracious. The original building dates back to the early 1920's. It is a very quiet location, and the breakfast are fantastic. Make the side trip to meet Mike.

We really enjoyed our few days at the Old trading post! It is a bit out of the town which meant you can literally walk out the door and go for a hike into the forest. We enjoyed the amazing nature of the area but also the friendly owner who took us for a sunset boat cruise on the vlei!...

Very neat accomodation and beautiful surroundings. Beautiful garden and view. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Although we booked bed & breakfast we had a lovely barbecue for dinner (self catering). Very tasty breakfast. Will come again
