This is someone's gorgeous 2 story home converted into a lodge. For just a teensy bit more than hostels, you get amazing rooms like back at your home, great facilities (full kitchen to use) and very close to the epic Kingfisher Trail- which if you have 2-3 hrs, highly recommend. The host is so gracious and accomodating and truly loves... More

Usually backpackers don't excel when it comes to cleanliness, care (ironed bedlinen for instance) and an all around luxury feel. Owner Monica is very friendly and experienced, she had backpackers in Wilderness before, Milkwood Grove has apparently been opened not so long ago. At night we could hear the remote sounds of a party at a nearby hostel. I'm glad... More

“The ensuite offers value for money, but if you are on a tighter budget you can opt for the doubles upstairs (room 5 and 6), which are right next to the bathroom and overlooking the beautiful garden.”
