We enjoyed ou stay very much at Maduma Boma, The chalet was very comfortable and the staff friendly. We would like to visit again when the veld it lush and green as it was very dry due to the drought. The hike on the property was also most enjoyable to do.

Our family of 5 stayed for only 2 nights in the Nyala cottage at Maduma. Next time we will stay longer. The service from Barry and Sue and their staff was excellent; the private splash pool a great joy; the chalet was clean and neat and the kitchen was well equipped. No TV - keep it that way please! Maduma Boma was wonderful and relaxing. The chalet was great but we needed air-conditioning in our Dik Dik chalet. We really enjoyed the swimming pool especially during the hot Dec month. We were fortunate to have a leopard and her cub 20 metres from our chalet and also to find an impala she had killed. We followed here spoor for...

We are a Dutch family that really longed to spend some more family time at Maduma Boma, after our first visit back in 2010. We lack words to describe the magic of the place. For us it's a haven of peace, joy and fun.

Barry and Sue are very helpful and were very kind in allowing us to stay for only one night over a long weekend. However, We visited Maduma Boma earlier this year, there were several major issues with the accommodation which we raised. On returning 6 months later, these had not been attended to. The fridge/freezer is barely functional, you have...

We stayed with a family of 5 (3 children) in the Nyala chalet. It was an absolutely lovely stay. Our hosts were very nice, always ready to help in any way they could. Simply gorgeous view from the chalet and so lovely to have the animals (including the beautiful Nyala's) walking around the chalet. A great bush-experience that we would...

Very friendly and helpfull owners. We rented the Nyala cottage, which had 2 rooms with double/twin beds plus a single bed, nightstands, a closet and a private bathroom. Fully furbished kitchen (mirht feeel a little outdated for some, but fully functional and solid). A covered patio joins these rooms. In the morning nyala, impala and warthogs ware right by our...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Maduma Boma is a private game farm situated in the Greater Kruger National park about 25 min from Orpen Gate of the Kruger Park which makes it great for day visits to the park. We are close to some wonderful attractions. We have 10 chalets priced from as little as R1000 per night. EACH chalet has its own swimming pool and boma. Each Chalet is fully serviced daily and is privately situated on a separate part of the farm. We have animals walking around freely (not the Big5, they are next door and you can go on a game drive there) and abundant bird life. This is the perfect place to relax and position yourself to enjoy the African Bush and what it has to offer. ... more   less
