We stayed with a family of 5 (3 children) in the Nyala chalet. It was an absolutely lovely stay. Our hosts were very nice, always ready to help in any way they could. Simply gorgeous view from the chalet and so lovely to have the animals (including the beautiful Nyala's) walking around the chalet. A great bush-experience that we would...

Very friendly and helpfull owners. We rented the Nyala cottage, which had 2 rooms with double/twin beds plus a single bed, nightstands, a closet and a private bathroom. Fully furbished kitchen (mirht feeel a little outdated for some, but fully functional and solid). A covered patio joins these rooms. In the morning nyala, impala and warthogs ware right by our...

We have returned numerous times to Maduma Boma, it is our most favourite place to find peace & quiet from the rush of everyday life back in Joburg. Barry & Sue have always been very accommodating of our needs, they are both very gracious & hospitable hosts. The rooms are very comfortable & the kitchen area well equipped. We love...

This is my second visit. I had to do work in the area and booked in to this lovely place. The were booking issues, from my side, less people arrived than we booked for, but the owner was more than helpful and assisted us quickly. The chalets are neat and have all the basic requirements for self catering. There is...

We liked this place so much that we booked another stay at it! The chalets are powered by solar panels, are spacious and nicely made and each one has a waterhole in front for the animals to drink at night. There is a brai at each chalet too. Expect to see nyalas, impalas and zebras. The owners are very kind...

Here you are really with the animals. Our kids liked it very much. Animals really come to your house. Friendly and helping owners. Not far away from the Krugergate. Beautifull nights in the Boma with a lot of stars.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Maduma Boma is a private game farm situated in the Greater Kruger National park about 25 min from Orpen Gate of the Kruger Park which makes it great for day visits to the park. We are close to some wonderful attractions. We have 10 chalets priced from as little as R1000 per night. EACH chalet has its own swimming pool and boma. Each Chalet is fully serviced daily and is privately situated on a separate part of the farm. We have animals walking around freely (not the Big5, they are next door and you can go on a game drive there) and abundant bird life. This is the perfect place to relax and position yourself to enjoy the African Bush and what it has to offer. ... more   less
