Wonderful remote lodge, far from the more crowded south in Kruger Park. Situated in Pafuri on the borders with Zimbabwe and Mocambique. Open and airy rooms, no need to close the blinds at night! Incredible bird life. Extremely attentive staff. Excellent food. Game not as plentiful as down south, but good sightings. Top class game rangers.

Lodge is unique, rooms give real experience of being in the bush, staff are incredible - attentive but give you space to enjoy the experience, food delicious, birding hotspot (esp summer), ask for room with a view

Really loved this place - it's got a great setting in Northern Kruger with amazing views on the canyon beneath the lodge. You can completely open the walls of your room and just feel like in the middle of the wilderness. The rooms are beautifully furnished and everybody in the lodge is so nice and really good at their jobs....

I was treated to The Outpost for three nights in December 2016. What an amazing place. The location, the lodges, the staff, the food - everything was perfect. During my stay I was introduced to Moya bath/spa products - more specifically 'Cape Geranium'. What a lovely product - made my stay even better!

Our guide, Dean, was very knowledgable and patient with any questions we had. He has a real passion for what he does & goes out of his way to do the best for...
