Stay was enjoyable, two things I can point out though. No halaal meals are available and the Saturday night we were there there was a company function, they abused the fact that other people were also at the resort. After a long day with activities you want to rest, however loud music continued passed 11pm and now that's not acceptable.

Stunning venue, beautiful surroundings. Last year reported that the "loft" area was nothing but a makeshift bedroom and cannot be passed off as one - but nothing has been done to improve. Again, last year and this year complained about constant bat droppings falling on bed during the night - nothing done. Something needs to be installed at the units...

The chalet looked very tired, the veranda leaked so during the rains we were forced inside. The smell from the bathrooms were at times over powering and the staff were slow to react, we also had a problem with ants not only in the kitchen but in the main bedroom. The golf course as always tough but in excellent condition...

I have been holidaying here since 1989. Firstly with my folks in their chalet and then later in our own chalet. I have been to the resort regularly over the Easter holiday's, then during September period and now 1st week of January for the past 4 years. The resort is always in top class shape and the staff always attentive....

Dysfunctional is an apt word in respect of the way the establishment is run. Staff were mainly disagreeable except for a couple of exceptions. Discipline is not adhered to as gangs of teenagers ignored no-go areas, noisily trundling around on a variety of electric wheelies, bumping into and disturbing guest and were never challenged by staff or security, also on...

Dear 789oliveth Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at Sabi River Sun, your feedback is much appreciated. As per our discussion yesterday, we certainly do try to keep an eye on the public space behaivour of the younger crowds during season without having to over police them. Not easy to do but generally we did...

The unit had everything we needed and missing items were quickly delivered by housekeeping. Certainly not luxurious but functional. We have stayed elsewhere in Hazyview and this was definitely inferior and less secure. The worst problem was our neighbours who played music at full volume on their terrace so that everyone in the vicinity "enjoyed" their music. The management response...

Dear millietess Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your recent stay at Sabi River Sun, your feedback is appreciated. Due to the lay out and proximity of the chalets to each other you are bound to hear your neighbours from time to time. Our house rules are clear though, between the hours of 22h00 &...

Fantastic holiday. Chalet accommodation great, golf great , main pool area & entertainment great. The chalets could use an additional fan or AC in the open plan area during the summer . The new years evening entertainment included beer gardens & live band which went down a treat with all . The staff & management went out of their way...

In general a well run resort. The grounds are immaculate and a pleasure to walk in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The security at the resort is excellent. A bit more emphasis needs to be placed on the cleanliness in the chalets as the servicing is not as thorough as it could be.

We had a great week at the resort and all the facilities were in great condition. The only blemish was the poor service from the staff at the restaurant area as it would seem as if they are going out of their way NOT to serve the guests, eg. no eye contact, no follow up on drinks orders etc etc....

Such a different Christma spent at Sabi River Sun but a lovely adventure. Try out their 5km running track and watch out for the hippo and crocs seeing as you are in Africa! Pool was very welcoming after a long day spent in the car driving in the heat through the beautiful Kruger National Park which is only 15 minutes...
