Fantastic place, peaceful, amazing food and great staff. Nothing is any trouble for these 'can do' staff The lodge is situated in a peaceful spot just before the busy town of Hazyview, this makes it the ideal place to travel into the Kruger Park or along the panorama route to Gods Window etc. If going into Kruger the lodge will...

Stayed for 1 night at end of safari trip. Location is a little off the main Hazyview road but worth the bumpy ride to get to such a wonderful oasis. Very friendly employees - from person who came out with an umbrella to ensure we were dry on arrival, to staff serving food in the restaurant and manager who changed...

Recommended to stay at this hotel 9 years ago and enjoyed are first stay here immensely. On a return trip to South Africa this year could not resist a return stay. Rissington Inn did not disappoint. Rooms still excellent and staff could not do enough to make our two nights memorable. As before the food was wonderful. It was great...

We stayed at Rissington Inn for two nights travelling from Tzaneen in the North down to Swaziland. The Rissington Inn is a very nice English/colonial furbished hotel with a grand bar and a cosy lounge room, which really makes one feel at home immediately. The swimming pool was nice and the free towel service very convenient. Although not too far...

The location is quite not far from Haziview restaurant and Mall, 9-10 minutes drive. However the hotel is in the middle of no where. It will be hard getting out without a car. View is great.... rooms are not updated but comfortable

What is this? "Get at Rissington Week"?! I am not going to tolerate it. What do I say here, in answer to this? We are not even a 3-minute drive from Hazyview's restaurants. What were you driving? A lawn mower? But either way Rissington is hardly in the middle of nowhere. Wow. And why would you choose a hotel in...

Beautiful surrounding, park, you hear mostly monkeys and birds, you can really relax and feel free from stress. Big rooms, amenities ok, but e.g. bath robes and slippers are missing. The food in the restaurant is good, and they offer a good selection. The reason they don't get 5, is that the service was not impressive, no help with heavy...

Thanks for this review. I think it important that we regain some perspective here. We have been training some new front of house staff and whilst there have been some minor issues, we believe we have now resolved them. We employ only from local, rural communities and we have really wonderful cheerful people, who do their very very best at...

Our room was absolutely immense and wonderfully air conditioned, a rarity! Big bed, big sitting area, private balcony overlooking the pool and landscaped grounds. Definitely 5 stars for the property. But the staff needs some work. It took three people to complete our check in. Slowly. The woman who showed us to our room seemed depressed and sluggish. Service in...

Quick comments. I am sorry that your check-in was slow. I have explained in another response to a polite reviewer that we have been doing some training. It is not normally a slow process and our cheerful staff and service are among our most complimented aspects, so I don't know what could have made her unhappy, do you? And I...

The proprietor, Chris, who is also a journalist and writer has a sense of humour, as is evident when you read the information booklet in your room and various notices around the bar and restaurant. The Brits will get it but pity Jonny Foreigner! We are greeted with a warm friendly smile and taken to the bar area, where we...

Once again the Rissington Inn delivered (although we had no doubt it would). This time we went for a Hillside Suite with private pool which we were more in than out. The staff were lovely and the food was great, breakfast and dinner. Get yourself there. Thanks for a great start to our holiday.
