Sanbonani – we just loved our week here, it is a lovely resort, conveniently located close to the Kruger Park for day trips, (10 minutes from the Phabeni Gate). We booked into the 2 bed roomed time share units - I see other reviews have mentioned that the attitudes changed when they mentioned that they were timeshare owners -that did...

The resort is very appealing a it sits 40 kilometres from Paul Kruger Gate or 10 kilometres from Phabenie Gate. 5 kilometres from shops and eating. Everything fine at reception, until you mention you are timeshare and attitudes change towards you. The restaurant food was limited to a set menu each day. The wording you get what you pay for...

The check in process was ok altogether as soon as we mentioned timeshare the attitude did change. The wifi is a joke you have to pay R30 for 100mb and it's only available in reception and pool areas and not in the chalets. The 100mb is a joke and it was cheaper for me to pay for data at home!!...

This is my third visit to Sanbonani Resort, the resort has many fun activities such as put-put, table tennis , a swimming pool , volleyball. There's plenty to do outside the resort such a Elephant 🐘 rides, the Kruger Park and river rafting. On the downside despite there being a cell phone tower the Vodacom and Cell C signal sucks...

Thank you for taking the time to review Sanbonani Resort Hotel & Spa. We apologise for the bad cellphone signal. The Tower on the property is MTN, however Vodacom is using the same signal and with inclement weather, wind, rain and lightening it appears that the signal was compromised, the service providers do monitor these towers and send out service...

We stayed in the time share units. There are air-conditioners in all the rooms. The unit is extremely clean and the cleaning lady (very friendly) comes by every day to clean. There is a list of all the utensils, glassware etc that you have to check when booking in.The patio is a great place to sit and relax at night...

We at Sanbonani Resort Hotel & Spa appreciate that you have taken the time to review the Resort. The staff do appreciate receiving feedback and thank you for your kind words. The gym is accessible by using the chalet key card, so one would assume that the responsible person would respect the Resorts House rules that the gym is only...

Ten day family holiday. Last day today. Had great time. We find finally saw the local hippo today and a baby one. Cleaners for the chalets have been excellent. The chalet was great, home away from home. The drinks/food service around the pool has been slow but you get used to it. Entertainment was good, during the day and evening....

Thank you for taking the time to do a review. The Housekeeping staff at Sanbonani Resort Hotel & Spa appreciate your kind comments. The Restaurant is still in the infant stage and it is surprising to hear your comments on 'tinned food' as there is a beautiful vegetable and herb garden on site. Perhaps I am biased, but on the...
