Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed with a friend at Hadida Guest House as a stop-over to the West-Coast, wanting to visit the big hole on the way. On arrival, Ruan welcomed us and indicated that we were upgraded to a (very spacious) family unit with a pool. What an amazing experience! Having driven for 8 hours the unit was truly an oasis. We opted to have the breakfast the next morning before departure, and the way it was served was very professional and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and good value for money. All staff at this guest house go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I have driven through Swartruggens many times but have never stopped over. The stay at Hadida Guesthouse helped me to get to know the little town better. Very friendly people, I enjoyed my walk up the mountain, and meeting locals in the hotel pub, where you can watch the rugby, and later in the sports bar, where there was some excellent live music by local musicians. I was upgraded to the guesthouse from the double bed guestroom, as i needed to make use of the braai and crockery etc. Superb succulent garden and pleasant farm views. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to going back some day.

We stayed there as part of a large group on route to Namibia. They were able to accommodate a group of 50 people.

We had a communal braai the evening and were on our way early the next morning.

The units was clean and affordable with a well equipped kitchen.

I would recommend this place.

Rooms are more than adequate and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen area was very well appointed. The negative was the hot water which was supplied via a gas heater but was not set to a particularly warm temperature resulting in warmish showers and not hot. Breakfast was good, delivered to the room as there is no separate dining area.

We had the best value for our money weekend by far. It was a 5 star treatment from our arrival to the day of our departure. The place is clean, the meals were awesome, and the host is more like a parent than a business person. The place gave us the quiet stay we wanted. We are certainly coming back soon.

Our cottage was beautifully clean smelling, very well appointed (in fact it had more than many better rated places we've stayed at) and the clean plastic wrapped towels every day were a big plus. They provided shampoo and even baking equipment! All in all it was a real 'home from home'.

Myself and my family ( 2 adults and 3 kids) stayed here for 2 nights and over the new year just there.

The accommodation was secure, clean and comfortable and we had a 3 bedroom self-catering home in the complex with air con, big kitchen and dining area, DSTV, sizeable private patio and braai area within close proximity to the swimming pool and outdoor play gym area for the kids.

All the staff were attentive and friendly and we were close to exploring the attractions in Kimberley.

Thank you for a great stay to welcome in the New Year.

Catriona

We stayed at the Hadida Guest House on our outward and return journeys in December and January. Both experiences were very good.

We had a 2 bedroom unit which was very spacious and self contained. It had the added bonus of having it's own private pool.
The accommodation is comfortable and has everything you need for a 1 night or longer stay.

The booking process through Safarinow.com was seam free and efficient

We were travelling with 4 dogs and the accommodation and enclosed pool/garden area were ideal for enabling them to be off their leashes yet contained.

We shall definitely be booking to stay here again on our next journey between Cape Town and Johannesburg.

We have used this B&B on a number of occasions and had made this our choice of accommodation when in- or passing through Kimberley. The facility offers good value for money, the accommodation is spacious, neat, clean and adequate albeit basic. The setting is in a quiet area of town and offers safe parking and security. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable and eager to advise on aspects in and around Kimberley. We especially are intrigued by the way breakfasts are served, brought to your unit at the time of choice. Very nice and comfortable.
