What a hidden gem in the centre of Kimberley Colonial style charme where you are surrounded by amazing history. This old Gentleman's Club has been turned into a boutique hotel without taking away anything of it's charm and ambiance of days gone by. It would not be far fetched

A relic of the colonial era, the Kimberley Club struggles manfully with its historic location in the dump which is now downtown. The grandeur of old conflicts with the appalling dereliction of most SA cities - trashed by the uncaring and lost to future generations of overseas

Despite being in an old part of town, I will never pass through Kimberly and not stay here! One can imagine what it was like in the early days of South Africa when the pioneers arrived on horse back, shovels in hand, and diamonds on their minds. The service is brilliant and the

You can't help but imagine what it was like in the early 1900s as the pictures on the world depict a bygone era of masters and lords. Rooms are spacious, meals are good and the waiters try hard to please. On both nights I dined at the in house restaurant. Good service

I would suggest emailing the hotel - I have stayed in a few rooms but don't recall room 7 specifically. It is on the second floor, I think it might be a standard room. If it faces the road, there will be a door that opens to a patio. In the one room I stayed in there were patio doors, but no window (if you want an open window at night but frankly it was so hot I needed aircon on all the time). I have not stayed in the rooms across the passage, in other words not facing the road, so not sure about the window/door situation. The hotel is very helpful with questions and answer emails quickly.
