I checked in with my daughter and her husband late September for a once in a lifetime experience. This hotel is huge in every way and the ambience is great. We booked 2 rooms with a pool view except their was no view of the pool but the roof of the restaurant between the main building and the pool. I would...

Spent two nights there with my family. You que for breakfast, it's hard to find beds at the pool and the valley of the waves is inaccessible for the amount of people present. Rooms are dirty and staff except for the ones welcoming not all that professional. Ups almost forgot elevators take for ever to come.

Not value for money overall. Service and ambience is 5 star. Lifts don't work so well. Spar brand of Chocolate spread at breakfast at a 5 star hotel? Breakfast staff awesome but if u need something that's not on display be prepared to wait at least half an hour for it to arrive (banana or normal black tea). Reception area...

Just returned from 3 amazing nights at The Palace. My kids were in heaven, the perfect wonderland for little minds. The staff were great, along with the best breakfast buffet ever! Thank you for keeping The Palace so magical, we'll bring back! Ps Chris was amazing when he zooooted us around the complex.

We spent a weekend in July at The Palace hotel chosen as our gateway to South Africa, because it is similar to Atlantis and because of the movie "Blended"! When we arrived, our room was not ready and therefore a friendly receptionist took us to the restaurant where we could have lunch by the pool. At the time, for us,...

We recently treated ourselves to a family long weekend at the Palace. The kids were delighted as this was were the movie "Blended" was set... From the moment we pulled up to this beautiful hotel, we felt special. We were met at the car, ushered in by a hostess who took us through the check in process after welcome drinks,...

Always stay here when visiting South Africa and our last trip was no exception. Our son had felt quite poorly and even though we had a special meal planned, the hotel organised a sitter to stay with him for a couple of hours to ensure he was OK whilst we went down for dinner. Staying in one of the suites,...

The rooms are lovely however, the food in the Palace Restaurant fails to reach 5 star quality. The restaurant food at the pool was much more palatable. The service at the pool area was below standard and made us feel uncomfortable. The staff were unhelpful and antagonistic. Maybe they are too seasoned and have lost the point of their job?...
