Pleasantly surprised at finding this hidden gem. On the main road, not too noisy. Clean and comfy. Shower a bit tight but everything super clean. Hostess super friendly and doggies a joy to have around. Love the old house, wooden floors beautiful terrace. Definitely on my well recommended list! The food ...don't get me started people...it's amazing! Only one thing...

Our B&B in West Beaufort recommended this for dinner and it didn't disappoint. You need to book and there is only one meal on offer. As this is a tiny place the policy makes sense but if you are picky do check beforehand. The Karoo lamb dinner was gorgeous and the light blueberry dessert a lovely compliment. Suretta is also...

We stopped by for 1 night on our Garden route tour in 2014 November with Friends. The dinner and breakfast were great. The host is such a lovely person. Now the rooms.... They are very clean but nothing like you see on her pictures on the website. They are so small, stuffy and dark. The beds are old, the bedding...

We stayed at Suretta's on our way to the west coast. It was a fantastic stop-over and provided exactly what we needed - comfortable beds, good food (the breakfast was amazing and plentiful) and a lovely homey atmosphere. Suretta is a warm and friendly lady and we felt like long lost relatives returning home :) if you are looking for...

Upon arrival we were a little shocked to realize there was nowhere to safely park our car filled with luggage. We were forced to pay to park at another establishment a block away. The owner told us that the website mentions there being no parking but on re-checking I couldn't find any such notice. She was kind enough in a...

What a wonderful quaint little place! Although we did not stay overnight here, as was our initial intention (was fully booked), we stopped by to have breakfast. It was absolutely delicious! We received a warm welcome and devoured the food. We tried the German breakfast and the English breakfast and both were fantastic! Definitely worth it and if we are...

What a lovely homely welcome after hours on the road. Suretta kept our food warm as we arrived after 8pm. All the rave reviews about the food are 100% correct. And the way the owner just make it feel like home. We were the last 2 guests and she sat down with us and just chatted away, while we enjoy...

We stopped in Beaufort West on our way down to Cape Town and received a very warm welcome. Our room was cozy but a little bit noisy as we were facing on to the N1. The lamb on the menu was delicious and the blueberry pie for pudding was also mouthwatering. We were a bit concerned about the noise from...

We stopped there one year ago and to our surprise, and to a point - disappointment - there was only one item on the menu to eat for Dinner and Desert. much to our surprise it was so good that i dreamt about going back the entire year to eat it again! i had a nightmare now the second time...

“Because the house is on the N1, you do hear the truck traffic but you just have to tune it out. If you are looking for sterile, ultra-modern accommodations, this is not the place for you. if you like old world charm, you get that at Suretta's B & B.”
