Also we got unlucky with our reservation for the sky-bar due to bad weather, we had dinner at the Granary Cafe. Before dinner we had a nice drink at the other bar and rounded the evening up with dinner. Great food but no real surprises....More

Perfect Perfect Perfect Perfect Perfect. We are on the 8th floor and the room is phenomenal. The view offers both ocean and mountain scene. I am at a loss for words. The reception we received was warm and extremely efficient. It's difficult to find anything...More

I booked the detoxifying charcoal facial. The service from start to finish was amazing. I arrive 15 mins early and I was greeted by a friendly smilie receptionist. She offered me a drink and some told me to help myself to the nibbles on offer....More

Awesome. Beautiful views. Friendly service. We were well accepted and had drinks. We went to explore the hotel and was delighted with what we experienced. Everything is tastefully done. A huge asset for Cape Town.

If it isn't yet, the Silo ought to be a landmark in Cape Town and possibly the sexiest hotel in the world. The Hotel is remarkable - the extraordinary architecture and interior decoration, spacious, modern and uniquely adorned guestrooms and public areas and wonderful staff...More

The room we occupied was very spacious, and we did peak into several others which all seemed generous. It really depends on the level you book but call the hotel direct and they will give you sizes, if it is a concern

I had a table of 10 booked at your rooftop bar for a birthday at 5 to 7pm. The gentlemen at your reception scanned my guest up to the 11th floor but when i went down with some of my guest who went for a smoke break. I returned to the gentlemen and he let myself and my 5guests back up. The lift stopped on the 6th floor a lady who works at your Hotel Amber. Stopped us on the 6th floor rudely asking ( not checking the lift had been scanned up) WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE .. at that time my guest said is this the floor i said no this is the 6th floor and AMBER replied No I THINK YOU SHOULD GET OUT OF HERE AND CHECK IF YOU HAVE A RESERVATION. Out of respect i said to her you need to calm down if you see we are scanned for the 11th floor and i called my guests back into the lift. I was so disgusted by how this Amber spoke to myself and my guests. And when i got back up with my guests they were not impresses that they were looked at and judged by her and felt it was rather a racial behaviour that was displayed as everyone was of colour. So i made my way down to the 6th floor and explained to the gentlemen manning you entrance to the 11th Floor. When coming to the 6th floor i spoke in front of her and said what she did was rude and unacceptable behaviour from her. She spoke down on myself and my guests and did not bother to see it was scanned to the 11th floor. While i know you have rules, surely i would not have been scanned to the 11th floor by the ground floor if i never had this reservation. I spoke to Nick the manager on duty on Saturday who also tried to justify this prejudice racial behviour that was displayed to myself and my guests. I had many influencial guests with me from Top Singers to Top line Regional managers and Goverment members and they all Will write about such behaviour and never want to recommend such racial prejudice behaviour displayed by your Staff.!!!!!! Worst ever experience. Carla
