We are extremely satisfied with this hotel and its staff. Everyone in this hotel was always friendly, attentive, considerate and helpful. Excellent breakfast that felt just like home. Everything we needed for our stay in Cape Town was taken care in a very professional and efficient way. We strongly recommend. We're definitely coming back!

Stayed here for 4 nights following our initial arrival into South Africa. A great base just beneath Signal Hill and a gentle, flat 30 minute stroll (or short Uber ride) to the Waterfront. 75 rand Uber to Table Mountain. Staff are excellent and our stay was very enjoyable. We had elected to rent a standard room and on reflection maybe...

I booked my room for 20 days after my parents stayed here for Christmas. Extremely friendly staff makes you feel at home. I chose a room that is a bit more expensive, but then they gave me a huge room with balcony. Good breakfast is included, but no restaurant s offered. They do accept take away food and is really...

Head Sout Lodge is a small guesthouse with good location just under the Signal hill and 5 min walk to 3 anchor bay. Rooms are quiet with good beds. However there is big variation in rooms. Some are nicer than others. Service is always most hospital, like wisiting friends. Breakfast is good including juice blender anf cappucino 😀

We spent nine nights here beginning on New Year's Eve. We had reserved an ocean view room, but we were given a room at the back of the hotel with a mountain view. However the hotel was able to move us after the first couple of nights. The room was good sized and very comfortable, with a wall of glass...

The guesthouse is very conveniently located and in walking distance to most places - shops and restaurants, the beachfront and the Waterfront. The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly and the staff are very helpful.

From when I booked until I left I found the staff friendly and helpful. The building is quaint and well kept and I loved the outdoor area (bar, pool, lounger etc) to entertain my friends when they visited. The concept of an honesty bar that seemed to work was fantastic. I always prefer smaller hotels to bigger ones and Head...

Location by the waterfront, by not on the waterfront. Parking is potentially a bit limited, you might have to park round the back, but its worth it. Room was bright clean and comfy, hotel is open light and airy, might be worth trying to get on of the rooms on the upper floor, might be a view? Breakfast was fine,...
