We spent 3 nights at Ralf and Stefan, who are the lovely owners. They are very helpful in planing the stay in Cape Town. With them we found the right places of sightseeing and restaurants. The guesthouse is an old colonial house, which is perfectly renovated. The rooms are style lovely in an african way and the breakfast is one...

Ralf and Stephan were great hosts and were extremely helpful in planning our few days in Cape Town. They were able to make a few great recommendations (e.g. dinner in Beluga or hiking up Table Mountain) and bookings for us when needed. The rooms were very comfortable and the gated parking was very useful too. We had breakfast each morning...

Fantanstic hosts and a great location, just a few minutes stroll from bars, restaurants and the beach. The B & B is very well appointed with a beautiful pool and courtyard. The bed was very comfortable with quality bed linen. Breakfast excellent too! The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. Our one minor gripe was that the room was...

Spent 4 days in Capetown recently. Staying at African Home was the best decision. To start, the house itself was built by Admiral Nelson in the 1700s and is tasefuly decorated for a complete African Experience. It has an outdoor pool, nice terrace for breakfast and or drinks. Location is good (not great), in Sea Point, but still a shor...

It is the attention to detail that made this awesome B&B the tops! Right after I made the reservation I received a welcome email from Ralf. He made things super easy and convenient from our even before our arrival up to departure. African Home was a relaxed, warm setting with lots of space to enjoy breakfast or a sundowner on...

What a way to end our trip to Africa. This B&B was just what we needed to complete our trip on a very positive note. The B&B is located on a quiet street in the upscale neighborhood of Sea Point. It is gated and has secure free parking. There are several good restaurants as well as the hop-on hop-off bus...

Ralf and Stephan strive for perfection. The bed was really comfortable, and the linen and towels were high quality. The breakfast, served outside, were excellent. The buffet changed daily and eggs were made to order. We received a very good orientation when we arrived. Wi-Fi strength was very good. It's an easy walk downhill to restaurants (but there was no...

It is difficult to find something new to say about this excellent B&b. The location is good, being in a quiet area in Sea Point close to the sea front and a stop for the Hop On/Hop Off bus which provides a good way to visit the main sights. Rooms are very comfortable with excellent beds, linen and towels and...

We stayed at the African Home Guesthouse for five nights at the beginning of March. We stayed in their balcony rooms (number 6 and 7) upstairs. Both rooms and bathrooms were very clean, nicely decorated, and quiet. The balconies were a big plus on the warm days we had in Cape Town (up to 42 Degrees). They were offering a...
