A very solid, value for money hotel. Everything adequate to good, although nothing spectacular - and with a great location in close proximity to the Cape Town Waterfront precinct too. The hotel was comfortable, reasonably recently refurbished, and everything worked. Good buffet breakfast included in the room rate.

My friend booked us two rooms and I can honestly say I would have thought this was a 5*. The facilities were all spot on and the staff incredible. You are so near the V&A Waterfront that you can happily walk down on your own as a woman on your own. The area feels pretty safe and being near the...

We had a brilliant six night stay in this Hotel. The staff were ALL so helpful. They booked our trips, parked our car and generally went out of the way to make our stay great. The room was standard four star . Comfortable bed and bedding. I slept well every night. The breakfasts were exceptional. Freshly cooked eggs whichever way...

We arrived and were shown to a room which had other peoples bags in so had to back to reception but weren't really given an explanation as to how that happened-bit concerning for our own room. The room was ok but the shower lacked pressure and didn't really make it over the shelf in the shower cubicle. The air con...

Super three night stay. Our room was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. Staff were excellent, attentive and friendly. A great all round experience. A good selection of food at breakfast (we didn't eat otherwise in the restaurant). The hotel is situated a short walk from the wonderful Waterfront and has free valet parking.

We stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of our SA road trip. The hotel is comfortable, the breakfast buffet is very good, the staff are helpful, the location is quiet yet within short walking distance of the lively waterfront restaurants and other attractions. There is secure and inexpensive parking (equivalent £5 per day) under the hotel. Well recommended.

We stayed here during our stay in Cape town. We had an excellent view of table Mountain from our bedroom. Family room was big enough for three without feeling that we were all squeezed in. Swimming pool area was clean and well kept. Gym was well equipped. Restaurant was well managed and food was excellent. We had both breakfast and...

The Commodore Hotel has an excellent location. Onroute of the hop on hop off red bus. Within walking distance to V&A Waterfront. Palesa at check-in, not the friendliest! Please and Thank You seem to be a thing of the past in the hospitality Sector..sad..😪 Rooms were a bit dated. Could so with an upgrade..a/c units old and noisy. Otherwise a...
