Great location, wonderful staff, especially Lucy and Ryan who organized a lovely picnic hamper to take up Table Mountain. So much to do here, probably the red bus tour is the best starting point Thank you

We stayed in the V&A hotel after being on safari in Kruger National Park. We arrived to the room being decorated with petals and a half bottle of champagne and fruit platter. It was beautiful. The room was lovely, spacious and ideal for our short time in Cape Town. Ideally located for a champagne cruise out in the bay, fresh...

We spent 5 days at the Victoria & Alfred Hotel whilst visiting Cape Town. The location is perfect for catching the Hop On Hop Off buses for Table Mountain, Cape Point etc. We had a room overlooking the front door and square where lots of entertainment took place kept us entertained and also we had a Locke view if the...

Brilliant location on the waterfront with amazing views of Table mountain. In a safe area to walk around day & night; close to many restaurants and bars but not noisy at night once windows closed. Good quality buffet and menu breakfast on offer. Loft rooms quiet, spacious and comfortable. Helpful concierge who booked all of our excursions (would recommend Robben...

Extremely convenient location at the center of activity! The staff was very courteous and helpful, the rooms clean, but the third floor room we were given had a sloping roof with dormer type windows that crimped the space. One of the remote window screens did not work. The rooms were otherwise well maintained and the bathroom was clean. I observed...

I think one of the reasons for choosing the V & A is for the view: you are right on the water and under the Table Mountain. But if you want a luxury hotel with that type of service and amenities, choose another hotel. The staff is friendly enough but there is no personal touch, no charm in the place....

Location was absolutely fantastic and you are right in the centre of town, get a room with a view of the Mountain it is worth the extra money. Comfy bed, clean room with everything you need including a window that opens to the fresh air. Had new staff which was a little frustrating being woken at 7.20am to sign for...

Staff was very friendly and warm upon arrival. I wasn't happy with my room for various reasons and was told over the phone that it couldn't be changed by the evening manager. I called again in the morning and the female morning manager that is very friendly changed my room. Which made my stay more pleasant. Bed is comfortable, and...
