Pros: My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. Abbey Manor is a really nice place - especially the views from the grand room are extremely beautiful. And the breakfast is awesome! You can reach every place in the city by foot and climbing Table Mountain is also easily possible. Cons: The minibar cold be better equipped (some products...

This guesthouse was chosen by our tour operator and it was perfect for our requirements. It provides bed and breakfast only and is situated on a hillside below Table Mountain in a residential area overlooking the city. The guesthouse was built in 1908 as the private home of a wealthy businessman and appears largely unaltered so it has a period...

Wow ! A room with a view ! This place is situated directly beneath Table Mountain ! We arrived mid morning slightly tired and nothing was too much trouble - breakfast was available with copious amounts of tea or coffee . Our room was spacious with a/c if needed. Beds were turned down at night with a small piece of...

Four of us stayed here for four nights over new year, the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped and the pool and gardens beautiful and restful after hot days out. Breakfasts were delicious and on three mornings served by a very friendly helpful young lady. The only negatives for us were the poor wifi and the rather abrupt lady...

Lovely place with superb views of table mountain. With friends and we were allocated the 2 garden rooms. Ours was the top one and was lovely. Lauren, Dirk and Mike very helpful. Felt Anja could have been a little more helpful on a couple of occasions. We asked for a taxi to the waterfront on NYE and asked for an...

The guest house is in an excellent location, you can walk into Cape Town in 20 mins, there is a good bus close by, and a deli pub/café at the end of the street (Will's). A taxi to the waterfront ranged from R77 (£5.13p) to R100 (£6.66p) The area is quiet and we felt safe. The roof terrace looks directly...

The rooms and grounds are very well maintained. There is an excellent rooftop deck where we had a bottle of wine at sunset.There...

We were in Abbey Manor for 4 weeks: beautiful villa, nice rooms, top located, safe, friendly service. The crew made us feel like at home for this month. The street (kloof) with very god restaurants is 3 minutes by car or 15 minute walking. It was not our last time!
