Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent a wonderful five days here this past August. It's ideal for a family trip; our two young kids enjoyed exploring the garden and petting the gentle old dogs that greeted us at the gate. The view of Table Mountain from the main bedroom is spectacular! I'll miss waking up to that every day. The rooms were cozy and equipped with heaters, and perfectly clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Can't wait to come back again!!

We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment with 2 of ou grown up grandsons. The main bedroom has a wonderful view of the mountain. The apartment was comfortable, and our host was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the 2 dogs, and will try to stay there again when we next visit Cape Town.

We spent 4 night in this great guest house. We stayed in 2 bedroom apartment and allthough not new, there are many pros to stay here. Lovely owners, great, safe and quiet location, handy to most of attractions (suggest to rent a car), great views, most of all 2 very cheerful and friendly dogs..not sure who was more happy to play with...our kids or the dogs. The only minor issue was a bit slowish wifi, but we found this to be the norm in most if SA guest houses. Definately recommend.

We took the apartment with two bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. One bedroom is offering a great view on table mountain and the private terrace with garden in front is a nice place to enjoy the evenings or play with the two resident dogs. Close to the pool is an other big terrace for all guests, which can be used for barbecue and relaxing. We (couple & 10month old baby girl) had a fantastic stay which was sweetened by the really friendly and cautious dogs. Thanks for the time at your place. If we come back to Cape Town, we definitely know where to ask for a apartment. M, S & E

The house is near the table mountain and the lions head It has 4 appartments Our appartment with view on the garden was very nice, complete with some presents (jam, butter, coffee, cereales...) There is a daily cleanup minus point: the owner charges the rate from the creditcard on the client a little bit narrow minded

We booked into the Palm Suite for the past weekend, 21-23 Oct, and had an absolute fantastic experience. Clare has assisted us in such a professional manner, the room was perfect, and spotless, and the views incredible. Well done, we'll certainly consider again when returning to Cape Town.

This was the first place we stayed on our trip in South Africa and the view of Table Mountain that greeted us completely blew us away. The room was fantastic (we had the Bay Lights Studio which was perfect for a couple). The accommodation is self catered but they give you some provisions to get you started, this was certainly well received after our long flight. The area is a great place to stay as well, a nice quiet residential area but very close to Kloof Street where there is plenty going on and a short journey from the centre. Hosts were exceptionally friendly and the room comfortable and clean. There is a larger apartment on the ground floor which would be very good for families.

Fantastic self catered accommodation in the heart of Cape Town - The house is nestled on the slopes of Lions Head and has stunning, panoramic views of Table Mountain, Signal Hill, Lions Head and the city bowl. An ideal location when visiting Cape Town: 5-10 minute walk to the trendy Kloof Street and a 10 min taxi ride to the beaches in Clifton and Camps Bay. There is also a great selection of restaurants, bars and coffee shops all within walking distance. Despite being so central it is surrounded by greenery and is in a quiet and peaceful location. The accommodation is warm and welcoming. It is well run with very friendly staff who were incredibly helpful. This is a place we will definitely be returning to. Thanks for a great trip!
