      Charming lodge in a great location, superb staff.

      30 mins walk by the shoreline (not rec to walk other ways). And in daylight. Easy cab ride. 40-70 rand.

      I'm not sure - best to check with the hosts I think. I'm not sure it is really great for small children. Mine are grown so I wasn't really thinking about it. There is an unfenced pool.

      I would not advise bring tiny children to Blackheath Lodge. It is a sophisticated atmosphere and not suitable for children under 12. I would have said under 14 or even 16 personally.
