From the moment we arrived we felt valued and welcomed. The breakfasts are excellent and it is lovely to sit in the garden for breakfast or tea. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. The hosts are informative and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Acorn House for 6 nights in October and were delighted with our room and balcony looking down over the city which was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served inside or outside depending on the weather and included a different cooked item each day with all the other usual breakfast items. But above all, and what made our...

This was our first stop on our 2,5h week roundtrip through ZA. We stayed for three nights to explore Cape Town and go down to the cape itself. Staff was very friendly, the breakfast was excellent. Great choices for breakfast and the hot service was also very good. watch the daily specials :-) The room was very nice but the...

Acorn House was the first stop on our Cape travels and it provided a comfy, homely, welcoming stay. Location was ideal, just 10mins drive (40min walk) from the centre, slightly longer to the waterfront. Free parking meant we could easily get around without having the issues of parking guides! The rooms, and the guest house in general, were decorated to...

We stayed here on the 2nd part of our trip & received a warm welcome from the days host along with a tour of the house & in depth information about the surrounding areas & things to do. The room itself was lovely, although it could do with double glazing to keep the warmth in & the surrounding noise out,...

The first destination on our holiday and what a wonderful starting point. We received a warm welcome on arrival from Ashley who went out of her way to make us feel at home as have the rest of the staff subsequently. Beautiful house, fabulous breakfast spread each morning and glorious views of Table mountain. Such a lovely touch that the...

We stayed for 5 days in Acorn House. It was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful people. The little treats are a nice bonus. The gardens looks over the table mountain which has stunning views. Also try the specialty breakfast. Recommended

Our stay in Cape Town was enhanced by our accommodation at Acorn House. It is in a beautiful location just below Table Mountain and the staff were truly wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and we would like to thank Denise, Stan and Ashlee for their care and attention.
