I was highly impressed by the hospitality at this hotel in the Klein Karoo. It was my first time visiting this area. Our room was spacious enough for a family of 4. Breakfast that was served each morning was what one can refer to being an authentic experience. It did not feel like I was at one of the chain...

Well, the day we came the heavens opened and the rain just pelted down...there was no way we could go out for dinner anywhere... The Turnberry Hotel Staff are one of a kind! One cannot imagine such helpfulness and willingness to make your stay the best ever! Immediately the chef started to make a plan for a braai for us...

We stayed here for one night on a family holiday touring SA. Perfectly nice hotel with well decorated rooms. A bit lacking in character perhaps. The bar has a Scottish (Turnberry) theme and was a nice place to sit in the evening. Breakfast was ok, average. We were a bit disappointed with Oudtshoorn itself, its certainly nothing special. For dinner...

Was greeted at the reception with a welcome drink. All went smoothly and reminded of international travel feel. Room was clean and comfortable. Only missed help with luggage during our departure that we had to carry ourselves down the stairs. The bar also closed quite early and a had to sit outside for a night cap. The "braai"is very expensive...
