Located well outside Oudtshoorn, this is a lovely, welcoming unpretentious place and we had two nights here staying in lodges in the garden. There is a nice outdoor pool with separate sauna, spa pool and small gym. Bar and sitting room in main house, meals taken on the stoop with uninterrupted views, food excellent. One very large cat, a parrot...

Very nice place to stay. Went on the recommendation of a friend on the return journey from the Garden Route to Cape Town, and was very pleased. I was only there for one night, but if you really wanted to decompress and stay for longer it would be a great place. The setting is beautiful, and the dinner and breakfast...

We stayed with Len and the gang for 2 nights and had the best time. Thabile Lodge is definitely a place of happiness set in beautiful surroundings with amazing views. The lodge has a unique rustic feel, which helps to promote an air of peace and tranquility. Rooms are furnished in a rustic style, which adds to the charm of...

Literally lulled into this tranquil spot, the drive on the 60 and 62 from Paarl to Oudtshoorn is a bevy of surprises that assist in leaving behind the hustle and bustle of Cape Town and wine country. From the brilliant red outcroppings and vinyard covered hills to the surprising and dramatic canyons that crop up after dry stretches of brush...

I have frequented this amazing lodge quite a few times in the last years - an it's been a most rewarding experience everytime! Len is a delightful character (and owner) and so is the rest of his staff - personal, friendly and helpful. The lodge is comfortable, food a real 'experience (courtecy of Hennie) and the chalets and restaurant, bar...

I stayed at Thabile for a couple of days. What a wonderful break from the city. I feel like a new person returning and also a bit like i left my family behind. Between Len, Ma Gertraud and Henny every guest is spoiled and looked after. The meals are top class and the best ostrich fillet i ever had! The...

We stayed at Len's last week for 2 nights and didn't want to leave. It's far from the madding crowds with the most amazing views of the mountains. You won't miss the bars and restaurants. Len has a great little bar on site and has an amazing young chef cooking for the guests. When you are there you simply MUST...

Stayed for 3rd time with a group of blind guests at the Thabile Lodge and was once again amazed about the personal touch to detail from Len and his team. A place where one really feels home away from home. Warm, friendly atmosphere to unwind and chill in a beautiful surroundings. Chalets are decorated in with individual paintings and have...
