I have stayed at LaBri Manor twice already this year and I love it. I'll not stay anywhere else when visiting my son who is at university. The friendliness of the staff is unrivaled. I was welcomed back as if returning home. The cooked breakfast was lovely and a good start to the day. My room was lovely and spacious.

We stayed 1 night at Labri Manor and we really liked it's quirky dated charm. The service was very good, we arrived at 11am without a wine tour booked. The lady on reception (I can't recall her name) quickly had us booked on a tour and had our bags tucked away, the tour guide arrived 10 minutes later to pick...

Location was great! Within walking distance into town. The room was comfortable and made me feel at home. I love the bath and the whole place was very unique. I felt special! Spent two nights here. Staff were very friendly and there to help you with any needs. Breakfast was plain but very good. All you needed!

All rather tired and shabby, it really could do with a revamp. Our bathroom was tiny and very claustrophobic, not even in Europe are the bathrooms that small!! The staff are very friendly and helpful and did go out of their way. Breakfasts where ok and the coffee was bearable. Would definitely not rush back.

Labri Manor is a nice guesthouse with charm from times passed. You feel like an antique goddess while cooling in the small pool with roof and statues! But no area for sunbathing. The walk to the city center was a bit too long for us. The breakfast is excellent but I am sorry to say that the rooms are a...

Staying at the Labri Manor for a night was room-wise OK. It was clean, nicely decorated and quiet. Also the location was quite central. So, why only 2 stars when even offered a welcome bubbly? The breakfast was a joke! Disgusting coffee, the buffet mainly consisted of cereals you normally buy at the supermarket and eat at home when you...

What a beautiful Victorian building with lovely furnishings and ambience. A very handy place to stay if you have business at the university. Stayed in room 3 which is a little small and pokey but well-appointed. This room is a little noisy because of the wonderful wooden floors so if you are a light sleeper, request an upstairs room. The...

This was our first trip to Stellenbosch and we are glad that we stayed here. The room was very comfortable and the service by the staff was excellent. They were able to provide dinner recommendations and booked us on to a number of wine tours! Breakfast was excellent and again the staff were attentive and enjoyed asking us about the...

This hotel is definitely the best I've ever stayed at! With that, this is the first review I've ever written here. As lawyer, I am trained to take a critical approach ;) and I can still remember those hundreds of five star or four star hotels throughout the world I stay at and I can always find problems with them...

The Cape Winelands are magnificent and Stellenbosch is a great place to stay if you want to explore them or have an engagement at the university (which was my reason for being there)...Labri Manor is situated in a charming house filled with character, with a wonderful combination of the old and new...the interior is incredibly comfortable...I was in a room...

“Please note that I am not aware of any fitness center with them, the above rating of fitness center as excellent was owing to the mistaken click on the section which did not allow me to unclick my selection. So please ignore that rating. some hotels always give you the worst room when you first check in and you have to complain to get a better room. I was shown three rooms with this hotel and I would be happy with any of them. I appears that all rooms are maintained to the same high standard, because my room is not any of those three rooms I was shown before I decided to stay with them.”
