We loved our stay at Le Verger. Sarah the owner is really nice and helps you to be as comfortable as home. Breakfast are good and served in a family atmosphere. The place is calm and surrounded by olive trees and wine yard. They are even producing their own olive oil. We strongly recommend this B&B ! And it's really... More

Sarah is the most gracious, welcoming host, with a great sense of humor! I really enjoyed talking with her. The grounds are so peaceful and beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, and the quiet is so inviting. The grounds are so lush and interesting. Just a short drive to the center of Stellenbosch, a beautiful town, makes it a great location.... We stayed at Le Verger as we were attending a wedding at Brenaissance. Great location. Was very easy to find. My email communication with Sarah before we arrived was very nice as she answered all my questions. Room is very nice. Our room was open and ready for us when we arrived which was great. Lovely views surrounded us. Our... More

Another visit to Le Verger where nothing has changed hospitality Wise that is, great location (just half an hour away from the airport) and spectacular views of the beautiful countryside. Sarah is as welcoming as ever, great breakfast in the new location, her house! Yes, should we return to SA we will definitely be back to Le Verger!

Le Verger is a small B&B on a working olive farm in Devon Valley. Nothing particularly notable about the accommodation, which is very decent, and what you would expect in a 4 star kind of place. Three of the rooms, in charming old farm cottages, are self catering. The best thing about Le Verger are the hosts Sarah, Gillian and... More

This was a beautiful location with a different view everyway you looked. It was off the beaten track and very quiet. It was not too busy the night we stayed and would be quite central to many vineyards for viewing but we didn't see too many offering tours in this general area. The hostess was very polite and friendly but... More

This is home away from home when visiting Stellenbosch, with Sarah always being an attentive host. There are a couple of options, either a guest room in the main building or two bigger self-catering cottages if you prefer more privacy. The cottages are well-equipped, but will benefit from some refurbishment. WiFi does not seem to work at the cottages, maybe... More

Sarah is a great host, attentive yet unobtrusive. Good weekend getaway from Plett. Recommendation of booking at Flavours restaurant at Devon Valley Hotel was great and just 1.7klms up the road.Remember to book yourself a reflexology treatment and stock up on lavender oil. Both good quality

Working olive farm close to several Stellenbosch vineyards. Fantastic views and very nice clean rooms! I was looking for something a little off the beaten path which Le Verger is....yet only a short drive to the city center. It's not the Hilton, but if your looking for good value, down home hospitality and fair price.... Give Sarah a call.

Thank Bob M
