We stayed one night in room nine which was spacious, clean and the hotel had very very helpful staff. Our wine tour that we booked failed to materialise however within minutes the hostess had rung to reorganise a wine tasting experience for us. She spoke to our tour operator and arranged for the payment and we even found a very...

Lovely room which was full of charm and character. Secure parking with a 10 minute walk in to town. Very friendly hostess who really made a fuss of us. We got our timings wrong and turned up to breakfast and hour after it shut. She still made us a full breakfast and it was delicious (recommend the omelette). Good wifi....

I stayed at the Manor. The setting was lovely and relaxing. Unfortunately I did not have the time to spend some time lounging at the pool. The breakfast's were lovely. I would love to stay at the manor again.

Everything that could go wrong went wrong with our stay. This is a nice hotel, rooms are nice but it is so badly managed which affects their service. The room was not ready when we came after the check in time. We had booked a spa treatment called couples retreat which turned out to be couples nightmare: not was not...

Dear Mrs Fabricius I am truly sorry that you did not experience the normal high level of service and enjoyable experience that we are proud to offer at Evergreen. Your "couples retreat" experience was absolutely not the norm and the people responsible for the service failure have been attended to, as I explained to you when I specially drove to...

Nice colonial style hotel - good breakfast and only 10 minutes walk to town. The Botanical Gardens are on the doorstep and definitely worth a visit. Found the staff at the hotel very welcoming and friendly.

Not really much to say about our stay. The room was comfortable enough. There is an antique feel to the hotel, with regards to the decor, and the "classic" toilets...that said the toilets were quite old and the water kept running which was noisy. The walls were very thin and every time the room next door flushed or took a...

Dear Josephine We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. I was surprised at your comment regarding the thin walls, as the house was built in 1904 and the walls are between 50 - 70cm thick. We followed up on your comment regarding the noise and this was caused by air trapped in the pipes, which...

A great stay here, rooms are massive and very traditional in style which is in keeping with the property as a whole. A great base for when you are in the Winelands. It is an old residence that has been converted to a charming guest house so each room is different and there are a few creaks but that is...
