Emcasa is a wonderful gated guest house, with beautiful gardens, grounds and a stunning pool all with a wonderful view of the natural surroundings. Breakfast was served in the outdoor sun room. An offering of menu items were complimented with a fresh juice option, a tantalizing amuse-bouche and a selection of breads and sweets. All plates were well prepared and presented. Our room reflected the attention and care taken by our hosts to provide an exceptional experience for their guests. Daily housekeeping is discretely provided while guests enjoy breakfast. Ronnie is a great host. From meeting us upon our arrival for check-in, to serving breakfast, to engaging in conversations throughout our stay, he is always pleasant and accommodating to his guests needs. For a day at the beach, Ronnie provided us with a sunshade, beach chairs and beach towels. Beautiful house at the silver coast in Atalaia near Lourinhã. Clean, fresh, nice garden en swimmingpool, lots of privacy, friendly hosts, perfect breakfest and relaxing area. Design interior. We missed the possibility of making tea at our room or in the lounge. Private parking. Nearby the beach, peninsula Peniche and Obidos but you have to use your car or bike. The beds had quite hard mattresses.

Emcasa was a fabulous 4 night break in the midst of a tour. Kindly upgraded from a Junior Suite to a Suite we were overawed by the attention to detail and luxury we found. A fabulous place to unwind and relax - with great hosts who are professional, discreet and clearly passionate about their service. Thank you for helping us sort our broken car too!

I'm not sure what I can add that others have not said. Our stay was perfect in every way. We went with the largest suite and it was exceptional. The sense of space and view was as good as it gets. I could have stayed for months. The passion the owners have for their property and business is ever-present, and the art of the furniture and fixtures is exceptional. If you want to just arrive somewhere and relax, look no further, just book. The restaurant recommendations are spot on too, we really enjoyed "Salty", taste, price, location (gorgeous sunset) and friendliness were 10/10. Finally, the local beach is almost untouched Thank you Tony & Timo you have created a little peace of heaven on Earth.

Our stay at #emcasa was absolutely sublime. Delicious breakfasts, charming hosts and a beautiful rooms with style and comfort. The digital concierge also gave great tips for eating out and day trips. We would happily have stayed much longer!

I was for 3 days at emcasa and I really fell in love with it. Very bright rooms, large bed, everything white and fresh but at the same time very ambient. I loved to be there and talk with the host, but also have my time to relax and just enjoy. I really appreciate the specials for breakfast every morning (a different smoothie and some other suprises), all so well made and full of love. Thanks a lot. I will come back :-)

My partner found this little gem for our first proper break in over two years. We couldn't have been happier with our stay at #emcasa. Ronnie and Timo have created the most beautiful place to relax and recharge your batteries in the most beautiful spot in Portugal. The attention to detail shows how much heart and soul has gone into this gorgeous boutique guest house. We stayed in one of the newly opened junior suites which was worth it alone for the view and the impeccable décor. Every little detail has been thought about and more. The interior design of the room shows what an amazing eye for styling that Ronnie and Timo have. A lot of thought has definitely gone into it. In addition to the most comfortable bed, there was fresh drinking water and a Nespresso machine which were both replenished daily. The toiletries in the bathroom were of fantastic quality and had the most amazing smell. The bathroom was also equipped with a smart toilet and a luxurious monsoon shower. The beautiful chest of drawers underneath the sink stored helpful face tissues and a hair dryer. The bedroom also had some lovely chairs on which to relax and a handy area to store suitcases. Every morning we were spoilt by the lovely breakfast served. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff there. There was so much offered for breakfast that we never went hungry! Each morning there would be a different freshly made fruit juice and a surprise of the day...a bit like a breakfast amuse bouche! You could choose from a selection of bread and pastries, scrambled eggs, granola with Greek yogurt and fresh fruit, continental meat and cheese platters. We usually never needed lunch as there was so much food served at breakfast. All the staff helping Ronnie and Timo were amazing and super efficient. We even noticed that the chambermaids were like #emcasa's own cleaning ninjas as they would attend to cleaning our room whilst we had breakfast on the terrace! Ronnie and Timo also offer a twice weekly dinner with a selection of especially paired wines which is extra but I can say in all honesty it was worth the extra cost. We were greeted with a delightful aperitif then a lovely 3 course meal with delicious locally sourced produce including the wines. If you wanted another drink whilst you were there, an honesty bar with a selection of soft drinks, beer, spirits and locally sourced wines are available to purchase separately. We also love to eat in local restaurants so we did eat a couple of times at a restaurant which was about 15-20 mins walk from #emcasa. A lovely independent, no frills Portuguese restaurant which was lovely and really great value. You will need to hire a car if you want to stay at #emcasa but it is completely worth as Ronnie and Timo provided amazing restaurant recommendations. It is a lovely part of the world to explore. Ronnie and Timo will provide items you might need for the beach and help organise activities outside #emcasa. Although to be honest we never wanted to leave the beautiful pool and the double lounger that we occupied most days! We fell in love with #emcasa and we honestly can't wait to come back. After a difficult two years our stay helped us rebuild our relationship as a couple and we are now stronger than ever. Thank you so much and we hope to see you soon!…
