Good hotel well located just next the city Centre of Tomar, room was clean, the staff was helpful and breakfast was good before starting the day in Tomar. Maybe the beds could be a bit more comfy but it was ok for one night and also good value for money!

Thanks to the lady at reception (presumable host) we were able to check-in earlier. She gave us good recommendation for routes and places for eat. Also she made an early breakfast for us! Thank you very much! Room is good, with aircon, view the castle, shampoo/soap provided. Location is perfect is well: just 10-12 min by foot from train/bus station...

The lady (presumably owner) was very accommodating for my family (wife and 11 months old daughter). We didn't have a room with a view, but the room was nice. We did see one centipede, but that may have come in with us as there were no other bigs at all. It was clean. The free morning breakfast is the same...

We had a view of the a Convento do Cristo which overlooks Tomar! Tomar is a Unesco World Heritage site, with medieval streets paved with stone and fancifully patterned with flowers. If you are on a budget, or just a value traveler like me, Hotel Kamanga is top value. Clean, good breakfast, plenty of strong Portugese coffee, central location. Ask...

We spent two nights at this hotel, which in our opinion has everything you should hope for: great location (5-8 min walk to the city centre) on a quiet street, very good breakfast (pastries, cheese, meat, fruits, etc.), room with air conditionning and a view on the castle, and most importantly excellent service! Indeed, on our last morning our train...

ROOM: Our room (room 312, with a beautiful view to the Convent) featured a king-size bed, a desk and a niche with a little wardrobe. The bathroom was quite small, with a shower. SERVICES: Room service came everyday, made the beds, emptied the trash, etc. Reception staff (actually, the landlady) was incredible friendly and helpful. WiFi signal was available in...

We spent one night in this very simple hotel run by a family. To be honest when I saw the room I was very disappointed, but I could not expect much more: furniture was very old and apparently it was dirty. Then after checking the bathroom I felt better: it had been renovated recently and it looked clean. Room was...

It's really good choice when you are in Tomar. It's cheap and in very good location you can walk everywhere by foot. The breakfast is ordinary but good, Wi-fi is also ok. Also you can get advises for good dinner - you can try local dishes in place not far away it will be "rat house" but in portugues.

The room and bathroom were small but clean. The staff was very friendly and breakfast simple (very basic with little choice), but ok. The location is great for the old town. The wifi signal did not always work.

If you would like to visit Tomar and be close to the historic centre of the city, this is the place to stay. My wife and I stayed there in 2013. Their included breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the rooms were cleaned every day. The hotel is run by a family who are very accommodating and friendly. We did...
