Detailed Reviews
We were driving by coming from Ericeira and needed a good night of sleep.
We just drived by,we didnt make any pre-booking.
The owner was friendly and showed us several pitches to park with the caravan, and also explained where the showers/toilets are and that we would need to pay a extra of 1€ for 7min of hot water(which is absolutely okay,as people tend to waste water anyway).
The surrounding is quiet, with huge cacti and olive trees.Theres also a pool which we didnt used.

Hello we did night at the campsite. The kindness of the owners is wonderful. Sam and Tony are excellent people, the campsite very family lawn in the plots and super clean. Tony's burguer spectacular.
The next morning I realized that I lost my Spanish ID as I was in Portugal. They aired me and sent it home. 100% recommended. I'll come back safe 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Great countryside views, but grumpy, shifty owner who is a busybody and annoying. Don't go there to enjoy yourself and relax. Be careful of the fees, there were hidden fees I only discovered after the fact.

My boyfriend and I stayed at over 10 campsites while travelling Portugal and this one was definitely the best.I honestly cannot fault this place in any way, much to the delight of my boyfriend. The facilities were always immaculate with clean, hot showers which were much needed after a nights sleeping in a tent. The camping area was beautiful and it was lovely to camp next to the ponies. There is a pool as well as a lake nearby to swim in which was lovely and Tomar has a lot of interesting places to visit. What made it that extra bit better than other campsites were the staff. They were so friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to help us enjoy our holiday and printed out directions for us and even gave us extra blankets for a comfortable nights sleep. The whole experience of camp redondo was a positive experience and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to portugal.

We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. It was lovely to have a drink in the bar in the evening and chat with local residents as well as the staff. Linda went so far our of her way to help, she nearly met herself coming back! Carlos, also was very helpful indeed, they even came with us to speak to our builder and translate for us!!!! And the friendlyness of Philip and his wife didn't go un-noticed.
We loved the donkeys and Shetland ponies, and really enjoyed pulling up the long grass to feed them.
This marvellous campsite suits couples and families alike.
Can't wait to go back to see them in July.

We drove from England to Camping Redondo and it was well worth the drive. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us, even taking some members of our party to a local Festa which they really enjoyed. The scenery, lake and local towns where absolutely delightful and well worth exploring, we found that 10 days was not enough. The campsite was clean and really pretty our tent was surrounded by lemon and orange trees. Tomar town was about a 15 minute drive away and the roads are never very busy. Would just like to say a big thank you to everyone at camping Redondo for making our holiday brilliant and totally relaxing we will definitely be back

Very good location, Tomar is very beautiful. We stayed in a chalet, which was beautiful and had very good facilites. At times the swimming pool was like our own private pool. The children enjoyed a pony ride and the donkeys. Peaceful and the owners are friendly and look after you.

We've just returned from 9 days at Camping Redondo and we are already planning our next visit. We stayed in Chalet Mimosa which was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The campsite offers shady orchards ripe with figs, lemons and limes, lots of little areas like a giant chessboard, tucked away BBQ areas and little playground, which my children loved exploring. There is also the added bonus of 3 ponies, which, on occasion, wander around the campsite to say hello!
In addition, the site is very safe, we routinely let the kids go wandering off and left our doors open. The pool area is well fenced and gated and the little bar area was always welcoming and well stocked.
We were so well looked after by Tony, Carlos and Sandra that it was hard to leave. The guys were really helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and went above and beyond to help us plan trips and activities.
Huge thanks for our fab holiday, we'll be back soon! :-)
