Hoyran Wedre is a country style hotel built of stone and wooden in the antique Lycian village Hoyran, that is on the Toros Mountain at the south coast of Turkey. The hotel has 2 suites and 9 double rooms all decorated in different styles. Each room has a functional fireplace. The life in Hoyran is far away from the stress and noise of the big cities. All you can hear here is the voice of the nature and the spellbinding silence.

This is one of the most beautiful country house hotels we’ve ever experienced. It sits on a mountainside, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The owners live on the property, and they’re fabulous hosts. We were greeted by afternoon tea/coffee and cake. Evening meal delicious, too. All homemade, locally sourced ingredients.

We came across this hotel/guest house on our recent walking holiday along the Lycian way and it's a really magical spot. Our hosts gave us a wonderful welcome and, as we we slightly out of season, we had the place to ourselves. A real highlight was the home cooking with an amazing chicken dinner flavored with carob and breakfast with over twenty homemade jams. Rooms were large, comfortable and individually furnished. It's not polished and a little rustic, but if you want to try something authentic and memorable this is for you.

Simply SPLENDID. Dream-like. Total enjoyment. Great getaway from hustle-bustle overlooking the sealine, comforting, soothing, relaxing… The place you (definitely I) want to be. Food, service, ambiance, professional friendliness, you’ve got it. Try. Will be a fan.

Hoyran Wedre fully deserves its 5 star rating on TA. If it was allowed I’d give it more! Rather than reiterating what others have said, let me add the following, firstly where else presents you with 10+ different jams at breakfast- not in intimidating quantity, just right so you wish to try them all, olive jam, sandalwood berry jam; and where else can you explore Lycian ruins on your doorstep with no one else around. Suleiman and Canan are wonderful hosts and ready with excellent advice. This is a flavour of real Turkey, but in the hands of a couple with professional experience who understand what’s needed to meet the requirements of international travellers. Highly recommended.

An incredible property filled with beautiful details, fruits, beautiful trees, and craftsmanships. The pool overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and is breathtaking. The hosts were very nice and meals were delicious. I wish I could have stayed much longer! Truly incredible experience.

We have happily returned to Hoyran-Wedre only after a few weeks to get a taste of Fall this time. Was worth every second of it! “ The season “ was still on, and enjoyed swimming and just doing ‘nothing ‘ in the sun. We did this time an excursion into the neighbouring antique city, and enjoyed the view from atop… The food was great. Healty and delicious. The hospilaty, hygine was great. I don't know how many times I can revisit here.

We visited Hoyran Wedre last October and I said in my previous review that we would return. We did just that a year later. Everything was as special as we remembered. Su gibi git su gibi gel is more than just a car wash !

What a refreshing experience.. A fine blend of professional hospitality with genuine local Turkish touch, magnificent secluded location at a mountain village overlooking the sea, superb cuisine with fresh local produce and presentation, and service, theme rooms with attention to every detail, AND peace&quiet. Great pool is on site (with the great view), and but seaside fun is also possible if desired – with a pleasant drive of 20 minutes down to Demre, which we tried only for a day. Regardless to say, we loved our stay. Already looking forward to our next visit again as early as this Fall, this time.... The owners of this boutique establishment are well-travelled genuine locals “enjoying” it for business and pleasure, keeping a fine balance of friendliness and allowing for privacy. Thus, as much as I would like to keep it as ‘an own find’, I think the place deserves to be known&recognized further, and experienced… Highly recommended.…

Amazing guesthouse hidden in the mountains, remote from the hassle of seaside Turkey, a haven of peace that feels like backcountry provence. Peaceful atmosphere, beautiful infinite swimming pool overlooking the bay, stone buildings... But most of all hosts are amazingly welcoming and kind, always ready to help, with a huge smile on their faces. And the cook/host makes unforgettable turkish breakfast and dinner. An amazing and unforgettable stay. We super-highly recommend!!
